Meanwhile, Marumo Gallants, currently battling relegation themselves, are closely monitoring the situation. Head coach Dan Malesela has made it clear where his priorities lie. "It has never even come to my mind – my mind is based on climbing up the league [table]," he stated. Malesela emphasized the need to concentrate on their performance rather than the fate of Royal AM. Gallants, precariously positioned at 14th place, find themselves just seven points above the beleaguered Royal AM.
Malesela pointed out the team’s potential to escape relegation through their own matches instead of relying on the misfortunes of others: "I would be very, very poor, or I don’t know what the right word is, if I really start thinking about how we sit at the bottom and all of this.
