Rossiya Exhibition Revamped For Defender's Day

Visitors can enjoy concerts, lectures, and interactive activities at the renewed exhibition honoring national heroes.

The updated Rossiya Exhibition is set to welcome visitors on February 22 and 23, coinciding with the celebrations of the Day of Defender of the Fatherland. This event will take place at the Don exposition of the National Center 'Russia' located in Rostov-on-Don, promising engaging activities aimed at honoring the country's defenders.

Throughout the weekend, attendees can expect a rich concert program organized within the hall, ensuring entertainment for all age groups. A significant component of the exhibition will include lectures supported by the Russian Knowledge Society, which is expected to feature insights from participants of the special military operation.

For those interested in visual storytelling, the exhibition will showcase several documentary and patriotic films. Among the selections, the audience can look forward to titles such as 'Donbas' and 'Day of Remembrance.' Further cinematic offerings will consist of the documentary series 'Youth of the Border,' showcasing episodes like 'Rostov Angels,' 'Kursk Camouflage Nets,' 'Voronezh Trench Candles,' and 'Bryansk Front Letters.'

Beyond films and lectures, guests at the Center 'Russia' will have the unique opportunity to engage in first aid workshops, drawing from the practical experiences gained during the special military operation. These masterclasses will be complemented by interactive activities led by representatives from the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MChS), the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MVD), and military training centers associated with universities.

Visitors will also be able to participate in safety instruction sessions conducted by these professionals. The exhibition intends to provide not only educational opportunities but also hands-on experiences reflecting the current needs of the community.

Another interactive facet of this initiative is the engagement with local colleges and vocational schools, which will facilitate additional events and activities throughout the exhibition.

For guests wishing to capture memories from the event, there will be opportunities to photograph with MChS brigade members situated at the park's entrance, where brief safety briefings on emergency responses will be provided.

It is worth noting the significance of this exhibition as it stands as a partner project of the National Center 'Russia.' The experience gained from the Rostov-on-Don exhibit successfully translated to the larger exhibition forum 'Russia' at VDNH (Vystavka Dostizheniy Narodnogo Khozyaystva) in Moscow, showcasing the regional highlights on a national stage.

Overall, the exhibition is housed within the museum complex 'Russia – My History' and aims to create a dynamic cultural space. This innovative project is expected to attract not only local residents but also visitors from surrounding regions, cultivating interest and pride in the nation's history and service.

The updated features of the Rossiya Exhibition present not just an informational showcase, but also serve as motivational and creative engagement for the community.
