On Sunday (November 5), police were dispatched to the scene following reports of a brutal assault against a 20-year-old woman, again at the hands of her husband, aged 33. According to reports, the couple had recently returned from drinking, and after engaging in another dispute – this time sparked by the man’s overwhelming jealousy – the violence reached unprecedented levels. Authorities learned the man violently struck his wife on the head and face with his helmet.
When officers arrived, the victim was found lying on the ground with visible injuries, blood pouring from her wounds. Realizing the severity of the situation, officers immediately apprehended the husband, who was taken to the Flagrant Department as the victim received care at the nearby UPA.
