Regina Hall, renowned for her comedic talents in films like Girls Trip and Best Man, has signed on to star alongside Will Ferrell and Zac Efron in a new comedy project from Amazon MGM Studios. Directed by Nicholas Stoller, known for his previous works like Forgetting Sarah Marshall and Neighbors, the film, initially dubbed Judgment Day, revolves around a young convict who takes a courtroom hostage after being released from prison.
The plot thickens as Efron portrays the young felon who believes the ruling made by the megalomaniac judge, played by Ferrell, has ruined his life.
