The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) is set to announce the results of the Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test (REET) 2024 today, May 8, 2025, at 3:15 PM. According to Board Secretary Shri Kailash Chandra Sharma, a total of 14,29,822 candidates registered for the REET exam, which took place on February 27 and 28, 2024. The candidates were divided into two levels, with 3,46,625 registered for Level 1 and 9,68,501 for Level 2. This year’s examination saw a significant turnout, with 13,77,256 candidates actually appearing for the test.
The provisional answer key for the REET 2024 was released on March 25, 2025, allowing candidates to submit objections against any discrepancies until March 31, 2025. The final answer key will be released alongside the results today.
To pass the REET, general category male candidates must obtain at least 60 percent marks. However, the state government has provided some relief to various categories under social justice initiatives. Candidates from Scheduled Tribes (ST) residing in tribal areas need only achieve 36 percent, while those from Scheduled Castes (SC), Other Backward Classes (OBC), and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) must secure at least 55 percent. Additionally, widows, divorced women, and ex-servicemen across all categories require a minimum of 50 percent, while differently-abled candidates need just 40 percent.
