REET 2024 Admit Card Released Ahead Of Exam

Candidates can download their admit cards for the REET exam on February 27 after verification of details.

The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) has announced the release of the admit card for the Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers (REET) 2024, which is scheduled for February 27. Candidates eager to access their hall tickets can do so via the official website at rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in. The admit card will be available for download starting from February 19 at around 4 PM.

This year, the REET exam is attracting significant participation, with approximately 15.44 lakh candidates registered to take the test. The exam will be conducted over two separate sessions: the first will occur from 10 AM to 12:30 PM, and the second from 3 PM to 5:30 PM. For many, this exam is not just another test; it's often seen as the gateway to securing teaching positions within the state.

Candidates who wish to download their REET 2024 admit card should follow these steps: first, visit the official RBSE website. Next, locate the REET 2024 admit card section on the homepage, where you can find the download link. Upon clicking the link, you will be prompted to enter your login credentials, comprising your application number and password. Once you have submitted this information, your admit card should appear on the screen, ready for saving and printing.

It is imperative for candidates to check their admit card for any discrepancies once it has been downloaded. Important details such as the candidate's name, father's name, date of birth, and the exam schedule must be verified to prevent any issues on the day of the exam. Candidates are reminded to bring the same passport-sized photograph they uploaded during the application process.

This year, the REET will be administered at two levels: Level 1 for primary teacher roles, catering to classes 1 through 5, and Level 2 for secondary teacher positions, serving classes 6 through 8. One noteworthy update to the exam pattern this year includes the shift to five answer choices for each question, instead of the previous four. This change aims to provide candidates with more options, yet, it also introduces negative marking for incorrect answers, adding to the stakes of the test.

Specifically, candidates who choose to leave more than 10 percent of the questions unanswered will face disqualification. Similarly, if they leave up to 10 questions unanswered, penalties will apply. These stringent measures are intended to encourage thorough preparation and discourage casual attitudes toward the examination.

To assist candidates with the new system, RBSE has made it publicly clear: the admit cards will only be available digitally; no hard copies will be distributed via post. Therefore, candidates should remain vigilant and proactive by regularly checking their emails and registered mobile numbers for any notifications concerning their admit cards or the examination.

With the REET 2024 exam fast approaching, candidates are reminded to prepare rigorously and adhere to the provided guidelines. Arriving at the exam center two hours prior to the exam is highly recommended, as this will afford candidates the necessary time to settle and confirm their seating arrangements.

Success on the REET can significantly impact candidates' careers, making this exam one of the most anticipated and consequential assessments for aspiring educators. With detailed preparations and attention to the new testing format, candidates can approach February 27 with confidence, ready to demonstrate their knowledge and commitment to the teaching profession.
