Customers are advised against using, selling, serving, or distributing these potentially hazardous products.
The recalled President's Choice Mediterranean Sea Salts weighs 360 grams and is identifiable by its Universal Product Code (UPC) 0 60383 97655 2. Meanwhile, the Himalayan Pink Rock Salts weigh 390 grams and have the UPC 0 60383 18288 5. Both types of salt have best-before dates extending through January 17, 2026, and are available across Canada at various Loblaw-owned grocery chains.
Health Canada, through the CFIA, conveyed the importance of removing these products from shelves and consumer access, emphasizing consumer safety amid fears of physical contamination. They reiterated, "Do not use, sell, serve or distribute the affected products," thereby underscoring the urgency of the situation.
