Rayat Bahra University Begins New Academic Year

Orientation programs set for August 21 to welcome first-year students

Rayat Bahra University is gearing up to launch its new academic session on August 21, bringing excitement and anticipation among students.

The university will kick off the session with orientation programs, focusing on helping first-year students adapt to their new academic environment.

Chancellor Gurvinder Singh Bahra emphasized the importance of these orientation programs, which aim to prepare students for successful careers as they transition from school to university.

Bahra noted many incoming students typically join straight from +2, making the acclimatization process all the more significant.

The university has partnered with multiple multinational companies to introduce new-age courses, enhancing employment potential for its graduates.

According to Bahra, Rayat Bahra University has established itself as one of the premier educational institutions, featuring modern facilities and attractive scholarship schemes to support students.

The university boasts impressive placement records, ensuring its graduates find promising jobs after completing their studies.

Vice-Chancellor Dr. Parvinder Singh added to this momentum by highlighting the importance of Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with reputable companies, which will facilitate good placement opportunities.

Singh pointed out how the Rayat Bahra Group has distinguished itself within the academic community by offering innovative new-age programs and unique approaches to education.

This educational group has made remarkable strides on both national and international fronts through collaborations and quality educational offerings.

Dr. Singh's leadership has been recognized, as he recently received accolades during the Independence Day function for his dedication to enhancing educational standards.

The Punjab Minister for Higher Education, Harjot Singh Bains, honored Dr. Singh for his outstanding contributions to the education sector.

Before his current role, Dr. Singh served for many years as Controller of Examinations at Panjab University, where he garnered respect for his forward-thinking strategies.

His tenure also involved two decades of teaching Chemistry at Post Graduate Government College, demonstrating his commitment to the field.

Dr. Singh has undertaken various roles, including serving as the head of the Chemistry Department, which speaks volumes about his extensive experience.

The Indian education system is undergoing reforms with initiatives like the NEP-2020, and Dr. Singh has been nominated to help implement these changes, ensuring closer integration between education and real-world applications.

These developments come just as the university is poised to welcome its students for the upcoming year, underscoring the institution's commitment to quality education and student success.

Students can look forward to not just academic growth but also engaging activities and support as they navigate their university experience.

Overall, Rayat Bahra University is making significant strides toward creating dynamic educational pathways, ensuring its students are well-prepared for the challenges of the modern workforce.
