Rajasthan RTE Admission Lottery Results Released Today

Parents can now check their child's admission status online after a record number of applications this year.

The Rajasthan government has officially released the Right to Education (RTE) Admission Lottery Result 2025 today, April 9. The lottery, overseen by Education Minister Madan Dilawar, took place at Shiksha Sankul and determined the priority order for approximately 3.14 lakh applicants seeking free seats in nursery and Class 1 across 31,500 private schools in the state.

This year saw an increase of 6,000 applications compared to the last academic year, indicating a growing demand for the RTE scheme. Parents had the opportunity to submit preferences for up to five schools during the application window, which ran from March 25 to April 7. However, in a surprising turn, about 4,500 private schools did not receive any applications, as most parents opted for more reputed institutions.

For those eager to find out if their child has been selected, the process is straightforward. Parents can check their child's admission status by visiting the official RTE Rajasthan portal at rte.raj.nic.in. Once there, they need to click on the "Lottery Result 2025-26" section, enter their application number or their child's details, and download or print the selection status report. It’s crucial for selected candidates to confirm their admission online by April 15, 2025.

As the lottery results roll out, the timeline for the upcoming admissions is set. Document verification for selected candidates will occur from April 9 to April 21, 2025, while a correction window for any document discrepancies will be open from April 9 to April 24. The first phase of seat allotment is slated for May 9, 2025.

The RTE Act mandates that 25 percent of seats in private schools are reserved for students from economically weaker sections (EWS), ensuring that children from underprivileged backgrounds have access to quality education. This initiative is designed to promote equal educational opportunities for all, a principle that resonates strongly within the community.

In terms of demographic breakdown, this year's applications included 1.48 lakh girls and 1.61 lakh boys, reflecting a diverse pool of candidates. The lottery results reveal not just the names of selected candidates but also the schools they have been assigned to, which is an important factor for many families.

After the lottery, parents must remain vigilant about the upcoming deadlines. The verification process will ensure that all documents are in order, and any necessary corrections can be made promptly. Schools will also be verifying applications until April 21, 2025, ensuring that all selected candidates meet the necessary criteria.

In addition to the initial verification, a second round of rechecking will take place until April 28, 2025, allowing schools to ensure that all applicants are fairly evaluated. The first allotment of seats is expected to take place between May 9 and July 15, 2025, with a final deadline for admissions set for August 31, 2025.

Parents are advised to prepare the necessary documentation for the verification process, which includes an annual income certificate, a domicile certificate (dated at least one year old), proof of the child's age (such as an Aadhaar card or birth certificate), and any relevant caste or disability certificates if applicable. These documents are crucial for confirming eligibility under the RTE scheme.

The push for increased applications this year indicates a growing awareness and participation in the RTE program, which has been a significant step towards improving educational access in Rajasthan. As families navigate this process, the emphasis on timely reporting and document verification remains paramount to securing a place in the educational institutions of their choice.

Overall, the RTE Admission Lottery Result 2025 reflects both the challenges and opportunities within the educational landscape of Rajasthan. With more families seeking quality education for their children, the RTE scheme continues to play a vital role in shaping the future of education in the state.
