The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) has officially declared the results for the Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers (REET) 2025. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now check their results on the official RBSE REET website: reet2024.co.in or rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in.
The REET 2025 examination was conducted on February 27 and 28, 2025, in two shifts. The first shift ran from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM, while the second shift was held from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM. The exam was divided into two tiers: Level 1 for primary teacher positions, catering to Classes 1 to 6, and Level 2 for secondary teacher roles.
According to the latest updates from the RBSE, a total of 62.33% of candidates passed the REET Level 1 exam, while 44.69% succeeded in Level 2. Notably, 50.77% of students passed in both levels, showcasing a mixed performance among the over 15 lakh students who registered for the exam across 1,731 centers throughout Rajasthan.
For candidates eager to check their results, the process is straightforward. They can visit the official RBSE REET website, navigate to the results section, and enter their credentials, including their roll number and date of birth. After submitting this information, candidates will be able to view and download their scorecards.
However, some candidates reported difficulties accessing the official website, with messages indicating "This site can't be reached" or "504 Bad Gateway" errors. These technical issues have led to frustration among many hopeful teachers awaiting their results.
The Rajasthan board has also made some adjustments to the answer keys for the REET exam. Specifically, three questions were dropped from the Level 1 answer key and two from the Level 2 answer key. The challenge window for the answer keys closed on March 31, 2025, allowing candidates to raise concerns about the initial results.
As for the passing criteria, the marks required for the REET exam vary by category and area. Candidates generally need to score between 36% to 60% to qualify. For Level 2, for instance, the required marks are 60% for the General category in Non-TSP (Tribal Sub-Plan) areas, while the ST category in Non-TSP areas requires 55%. Similar criteria apply to SC, OBC, MBC, and EWS categories.
The REET 2025 certificate, once awarded, will be valid for a lifetime, allowing successful candidates to apply for teaching positions in government schools across Rajasthan. This is a significant change that could potentially influence many aspiring educators in the state.
For those who missed the application window, the REET 2025 application form was available from December 16, 2024, to January 15, 2025, with the admit card released on February 20, 2025. The REET exam has become a crucial step for candidates seeking employment in the state's educational institutions, and the announcement of results is a highly anticipated event.
With the results now declared, candidates are encouraged to stay updated through the official channels for any further announcements regarding cut-off marks, vacancies, and the selection process. The RBSE continues to provide essential updates on their official portals, ensuring that all candidates have access to accurate and timely information.
As the educational landscape evolves, the significance of the REET exam remains paramount for those aspiring to teach in Rajasthan. The successful candidates will now look forward to the next steps in their journey towards becoming qualified educators, while those who did not pass will have the opportunity to prepare for future exams.
