President Duda Backs Karol Nawrocki In Łódź Convention

Supporters rally behind Nawrocki as election day approaches, highlighting family values and unity.

In a significant political moment, President Andrzej Duda made a surprise appearance at the campaign convention for Karol Nawrocki in Hala Expo, Łódź, on April 27, 2025. Duda announced his support for Nawrocki, stating, "I will vote for Karol Nawrocki." He emphasized the importance of this moment for both himself as the President of Poland and as a citizen, highlighting that the interests of Poland and its people are paramount. "This moment is extremely important for Poland, and that’s why I am here today," he said, expressing gratitude for the support he received during his own presidential campaign in 2014 and 2015.

Duda acknowledged the contributions of former Prime Minister Beata Szydło and current Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, thanking them for their achievements during his presidency. He pointed to various accomplishments, including social programs and infrastructure development, as key successes during his administration.

Marta Nawrocka, Karol Nawrocki's wife, also took the stage at the convention, where she expressed her unwavering support for her husband. "Good morning, Poland. I want to thank all Poles for the support shown during our campaign trail. You have demonstrated how much you believe in my husband in this unequal fight for the presidency," she said. She described Nawrocki as composed of three essential elements: himself, family, and work. "In these areas, he sets goals and consistently achieves them," she noted.

As she spoke, Marta emphasized her belief in her husband as a leader who would prioritize the well-being of all Poles. "I will choose a president above divisions, a president for all Poles, who will care for them as his own family," she declared. She concluded her speech with a rallying cry, stating, "On May 18, we are going for victory!"

Jarosław Kaczyński, the leader of the Law and Justice party (PiS), also addressed the crowd, reinforcing the party's commitment to Nawrocki. "In this fight, we can indeed win, but we must remember that our engagement must be repeated. This is our duty," he said, urging supporters to mobilize. He characterized Nawrocki as a symbol of strength, not only in physical terms but also in personality and character.

The atmosphere at the convention was charged, with attendees chanting slogans like "thieves" and "we will win." The event was designed to energize supporters as the campaign enters its crucial final phase.

Marta Nawrocka, dressed in a stylish pastel yellow suit praised by stylist Michał Musiał, was also a focal point of the event. Musiał commented on her choice of attire, stating, "Marta Nawrocka chose a light total look and pulled it off excellently." He noted that her outfit was well-tailored and aligned with current fashion trends. Another fashion expert, Dorota Wolff, described Nawrocka's style as minimalist, suggesting that while it lacks extravagance, it embodies a sense of safety and elegance.

During her speech, Marta shared personal anecdotes about her family life with Karol Nawrocki, illustrating her husband’s dedication as a father. "When our daughter Kasia wanted to feel like a princess, her father took her to a real castle in Gniew. And when our son Antek wanted to see Sandomierz, his father took him there to explore the museum," she recounted. "Even when I wanted to go skiing in the Bieszczady Mountains, despite Karol not being a fan of winter sports, he kept his promise and went with me. He is someone who always keeps his word," she added.

Marta's speech received mixed reviews from experts, with Marta Rodzik noting that while she spoke calmly, her delivery was slightly slow and showed moments of visible stress. Rodzik praised Nawrocka's choice of suit color and remarked that her hairstyle change was a positive enhancement for her public image.

The convention, which began at noon, attracted significant attention, not only for its political implications but also for the personal dynamics displayed by the Nawrocki family. As the couple prepares for the upcoming election, their public appearances are crucial in shaping voter perceptions.

As the campaign heats up, the Nawrockis are positioning themselves as a family-oriented duo ready to lead Poland into the future. With the election date set for May 18, 2025, both Karol and Marta Nawrocki are calling on supporters to unite and push for victory, emphasizing their shared vision for a safe and prosperous Poland.
