Starting April 15, subscribers can access Hogwarts Legacy, an open-world RPG set in the Harry Potter universe. However, players won't run into Harry, Ron, or Hermione, as the game is set in the 1800s, long before they were born. Players will explore the Hogwarts grounds, craft potions, and encounter mythical beasts as a student at the storied magical school. Your character holds the key to an ancient secret that could tear the wizarding world apart, so it's up to you to decide the fate of the world around you.
In addition to Hogwarts Legacy, several other games will be available for PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers starting in April. These include Blue Prince, an atmospheric architectural game where players embark on an adventure in an ever-changing manor filled with 45 mysterious and shifting rooms. As the heir to the manor, players must explore each room and search for the rumored room 46, with each decision shaping their path through the manor.
Also available now, as of April 10, 2025, is Lost Records: Bloom & Rage – Tape 2, a narrative adventure game set in the sleepy Michigan town of Velvet Cove. Players rewind back and forth between 1995 and 2022 to uncover life-changing secrets and understand why four high school friends are reuniting after all these years. The game features a dreamy soundtrack, ethereal vibes, and a serene environment, giving it a feeling of beauty and strangeness. This sequel follows Lost Records: Bloom and Rage – Tape 1, which was added to the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog in February 2025.
In addition to these titles, PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers can look forward to playing other games in April, including Alone in the Dark 2, Battlefield 1, EA Sports PGA Tour, PlateUp!, and War of the Monsters.
