After more than a decade of anticipation, Italy's famed Path of Love, or "Via dell'Amore," has reopened, reigniting excitement among travelers and locals alike. Situated along the picturesque coastline between the charming villages of Riomaggiore and Manarola in the Cinque Terre region, this captivating 900-meter path had been closed since 2012 due to damage from a landslide. Access to the Path of Love will be controlled to prevent overwhelming foot traffic which has been a concern in previous years. Initially, from July 27 until August 8, the path is exclusively open to local residents and visitors with ties to the community. Starting August 9, tourists can reserve access via an online booking system at a fee of €10. The path permits 400 visitors per hour, divided into smaller groups to ensure a more pleasant walking experience.
