With over 100 companies attending, Pakistan showcases its growing IT capabilities and fosters international collaboration.

Pakistan has made significant strides at LEAP 2025, the world's largest tech event, bringing together global innovators, thought leaders, and enterprises to explore cutting-edge technologies and the future of the digital world. This year's participation marked Pakistan's largest-ever representation at such events, showcasing over 100 companies and more than 1,000 delegates who collectively represented the country's burgeoning IT sector.

The event commenced with the Pak-Saudi Business Forum, gathering over 400 attendees from both countries to explore collaboration opportunities within the IT and digital transformation sectors. The Pakistan Pavilion, inaugurated on Day 1 by Minister of State for IT & Telecom Shaza Fatima Khawaja, along with notable figures like H.E. Deema Al Yahya, Secretary General of the Digital Cooperation Organization, showcased the nation's top-tier IT firms, startups, and service providers. This pavilion exhibited innovative solutions spanning artificial intelligence, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and other key areas.

Throughout this pivotal event, Khawaja engaged with Saudi tech giants, government representatives, and industry leaders, emphasizing Pakistan's unwavering commitment to fostering international collaboration in digital transformation. Several memorandums of understandings (MoUs) and contracts were signed between Pakistani IT firms and global tech corporations, marking significant progress toward establishing Pakistan's niche within international markets.

Pakistan's high-profile presence was also reflected through prominent speaking engagements. Minister Khawaja participated actively on the main stage at LEAP, and CEO of the Pakistan Software Export Board, Abu Bakar, discussed strategies for empowering startups through global collaboration.

Expressing her perspectives on the successful participation, Minister Khawaja stated, “LEAP 2025 has been an incredible platform to showcase Pakistan's digital capabilities to the world. Our tech sector is thriving, and the partnerships formed here will accelerate our transformation toward a more connected, innovative, and technology-driven Pakistan.”
