Osheaga 2025 Lineup Features Olivia Rodrigo And More

Festival boasts diverse lineup including Tyler, The Creator and The Killers at Parc Jean-Drapeau

Montreal’s world-class Osheaga Music and Arts Festival has officially unveiled its highly anticipated lineup for the 2025 edition, promising a weekend filled with exciting performances by some of the biggest stars on the music scene today.

Set to take place from August 1 to 3, 2025, at the scenic Parc Jean-Drapeau, this year's festival headliners include the sensational Olivia Rodrigo, the genre-defying Tyler, The Creator, and the iconic rock band The Killers. Each of these artists is set to bring their unique sound and energy to the stage, marking significant moments for festivalgoers.

According to Nick Farkas, the founder of Osheaga and Vice President of concerts at Evenko, the festival aims to appeal to diverse tastes within the festival audience. "It’s very Osheaga when you look at what we’ve done historically," he stated, reflecting on the festival's long-standing tradition of blending various musical genres. Overall, the 2025 lineup features 87 artists, with more than three-quarters of them performing at Osheaga for the first time.

Olivia Rodrigo, who has taken the world by storm with her chart-topping hits, will perform on August 3—the festival's closing night. This year marks her debut at Osheaga, and fans can expect an unforgettable performance. Similarly, Tyler, The Creator, whose concert at the Bell Centre is set to sell out prior to the festival, is scheduled to appear on August 2, showcasing his multifaceted artistry.

The Killers will kick off the festival on August 1, bringing their energetic alternative rock sound to the stage. This eclectic selection of headliners is indicative of Osheaga's commitment to presenting foundational acts as well as newcomers.

Alongside these headliners, the lineup boasts other exciting performers, including Grammy-winner Doechii, who has been making waves with her recent album, and the British pop duo The Chainsmokers, known for their infectious dance hits. Indie darlings like cage the elephant, Lucy Dacus, and Gracie Abrams also promise to keep the festival fresh and engaging.

Farkas revealed, "Hopefully Osheaga will bring some summer to people's lives," emphasizing the festival’s role as not just another music event but as a celebration of culture and community through music. Incorporation of diverse genres is another hallmark of this year’s lineup, aiming to attract fans with varied tastes.

The exciting rise of new artists also takes center stage, with acts such as Gracie Abrams returning to the festival after her performance two years ago when she opened for Taylor Swift. This time she steps up the ladder to become one of the more prominent acts on the Osheaga stages.

Another noteworthy aspect of the 2025 lineup is the inclusion of Canadian talent. The Beaches, bbno$, EKKSTACY, Ruby Waters, and Debby Friday are just some of the Canadian artists making their mark at this prominent festival, reitering Osheaga's commitment to spotlighting homegrown talent.

Farkas also mentioned the behind-the-scenes effort of curations, saying, "The line-up is just like a giant bloody jigsaw puzzle..." giving insight not just to the diversity of the artists, but also to the complex work put in to arrange such a diverse roster effectively. This challenge of balancing various music styles seems to have become increasingly arduous over the years, but it’s also what makes the festival so unique.

Festivalgoers are encouraged to act quickly, as three-day passes for the anticipated event will go on sale starting February 21, 2025, at 10 AM ET. General admission tickets will start at $415, with options for various package upgrades including gold, platinum, and suite classes.

With its eclectic mix of genres, international and local talent, and its commitment to delivering unparalleled live music experiences, Osheaga's 2025 lineup is set to be one of the most memorable yet. Whether you’re there for the headliners or the lesser-known acts, Osheaga promises not just music but memories, community, and fun across its weekend of showcases.
