OpenAI Partners With U.S. National Laboratories For Nuclear Security

OpenAI has officially announced its partnership with U.S. National Laboratories to deploy its advanced artificial intelligence technology for scientific research and nuclear security. This collaboration will see up to 15,000 scientists gaining access to OpenAI's reasoning-focused o1 series models, which are set to revolutionize various research sectors.

The initiative follows OpenAI's earlier release of ChatGPT Gov, which is specially crafted for government use. He declared, "This use case is highly consequential, and we believe it is important for OpenAI to support it as part of our commitment to national security."
