OnePlus Rolls Out OxygenOS 15 Updates With Key Features

The latest OxygenOS updates improve performance, security, and user experience across OnePlus devices.

OnePlus has initiated a phased rollout of its latest operating system, OxygenOS 15.0.0.600, for the OnePlus 11, marking a significant upgrade for users. Following this, updates 15.0.0.601 are also being introduced for the OnePlus Pad 2 and OnePlus Pad, bringing not only improved security measures but also enhanced functionality across various devices.

The update, now available for OnePlus 11 users in India under the build number CPH2447_15.0.0.600 (EX01), introduces several functional tweaks along with security enhancements and bug fixes. With this rollout, OnePlus aims to improve overall user experience, addressing significant concerns related to system performance and application functionality. A key feature being brought to the Photos app is the addition of personalized watermarks, which allows users to add their flair to images seamlessly.

Another notable benefit of the update is the ability for users to revert edited live photos back to their original states, following adjustments made via cropping, filtering, or watermarking. This new feature emphasizes OnePlus's dedication to allowing users greater control over their image editing process. The update also resolves frustrating connectivity issues where audio and video sync problems occurred when using Bluetooth headphones.

Users have reported problems with system malfunctions when setting the wallpaper theme as ‘Snapshot’ after changing the device language. The latest update addresses this bug, enhancing the stability of the system overall. The February 2025 Android security patch incorporated within this update helps bolster the device's protection against vulnerabilities.

OnePlus ensures the rollout remains gradual, meaning it will initially reach only a limited number of users. This approach allows the company to monitor performance and address any unforeseen issues efficiently. Indian users can easily report any bugs they encounter through the Google Dialer by entering *#800#, which is currently exclusive to the region. Meanwhile, global users are encouraged to utilize OnePlus's official community forums for reporting problems.

Alongside the OnePlus 11's update, OnePlus Pad users are also receiving upgrades. For the OnePlus Pad 2 and OnePlus Pad, the newly released OxygenOS 15.0.0.601 updates have been rolled out to various regions including IN, EU, and GLO. Enhancements shared across both devices focus on the AI Notes application, ensuring visual consistency and accuracy. Important updates also include resetting the camera to no filters once reopened, which significantly improves user experience when using the camera functionalities.

This update features optimizations to support battery life enhancement during specific scenarios and improvements to app performance enabling users to have smoother interactions within their devices. Just as with the OnePlus 11 update, the February 2025 Android security patch is incorporated, providing users with enhanced security measures against potential threats.

OnePlus promotes the updates as rolling out incrementally, prioritizing smaller batches of users before widening availability. Infused with performance upgrades and user-centric enhancements, these updates are greeted with anticipation from users. OnePlus encourages its customers to actively look for update notifications or to manually check for updates within their device settings.

For those who are eager to experience the latest features and improvements OnePlus has to offer, staying updated through official channels is pivotal. The progression of the updates will continue to roll out, aiming for higher capacity completion across devices. Users are advised to keep their devices ready and monitor support channels as they await their respective updates.
