Olly Leads Fervent Anticipation At Sanremo 2025 Festival

With the festival's opening night just hours away, fans are ready to support their favorite artists and witness thrilling performances.

With just hours to go until the kickoff of the Sanremo 2025 Festival, hosted by Carlo Conti, the streets of the city of flowers have already been taken over by hundreds of fans eager to support their favorite contestants this year. We've conducted a survey to predict the final winner of this 75th edition, asking bystanders who will win the coveted golden lion trophy.

Out of 100 participants surveyed, leading the pack is Olly, followed closely by Tony F, with Fedez showing minimal chances of clinching the podium this time around.

The excitement for Sanremo is palpable, with fans of the 29 Big artists selected by Carlo Conti buzzing about the city. The survey shows Olly is the clear favorite for the ultimate victory with 40% of the votes. He is making his second appearance on the Ariston stage, having risen to popularity with chart-topping singles, including his duet with Angelina Mango, "Per due come noi." Tony F holds the second spot with 20% of preferences, followed by Elodie at 15%.

Giorgia and Massimo Ranieri follow with 8% and 5%, respectively, but Fedez faces significant hurdles with just 4% of the fans' support amid controversies surrounding his marriage with Chiara Ferragni.

What’s more, the first night of this iconic festival on February 11, 2025, promises excitement as it features Antonella Clerici and Gerry Scotti alongside Conti. The super guest of the inaugural evening will be Jovanotti, ready to electrify the audience with a medley of his greatest hits.

Looking forward, this edition of the Sanremo Festival is shaping up to be one rich with sensuality, not only due to the talented women participating but also because of the co-hosts chosen to accompany Conti throughout the festival. Top model Bianca Balti, battling her cancer diagnosis, will join as co-host for the second night alongside Cristiano Malgioglio and Nino Frassica. With many illustrious appearances planned, Balti has made her mark as one of the world’s most recognized Italian sex symbols.

Elettra Lamborghini will also debut as co-host after competing back in 2020, and actress Miriam Leone, known for her varied accolades including two Nastri d'Argento awards, will join her on stage. Alessia Marcuzzi is set to handle the grand finale alongside Conti and Alessandro Cattelan.

One of the most gripping aspects of this year’s festival is the highly anticipated duets, set for the fourth night on February 14. The 29 contestants will perform alongside external guests or even among themselves, marking this year as particularly collaborative compared to past formats.

Betting odds have fans intrigued. Experts from Sisal suggest the final night could be filled with surprises featuring a tight battle between Giorgia and Olly, both offered at odds of 4.50. Attention also turns to Achille Lauro and Irama, ready to shake up the standings with odds at 6.00 and 7.50, respectively. Elodie follows closely with 12.00 odds.

New Proposals have also made their debut at the festival, with Alex Wyse taking lead among young contenders at 1.90, guaranteeing fresh blood entering the competition.

While the competition progresses, the festival also shines as the sartorial showcase for top designers with artists flaunting stunning outfits. Giorgia will dazzle audiences dressed by Dior as confirmed by her stylist. Irama is set to surprise with Balmain creations, marking the iconic brand’s first appearance on the Ariston stage. Also, Joan Thiele will pair her performance with outfits from Chanel, promising high fashion interest throughout the festival.

With so many talented artists and exciting performances on deck, Sanremo 2025 is cultivating high expectations. Each artist’s look increasingly intertwines with their musical identity, with stylists crafting elaborate narratives through fashion choices set to captivate both music lovers and fashionistas alike.

With attention on vehicles of expression flourished richly at Sanremo, the festival is not just about the music. It’s also poised to be about the message conveyed through each performance and outfit, providing reflections of collaboration and cultural nuance.
