Olivia Rodrigo Headlines Starry Return Of BST Hyde Park

London’s BST Hyde Park festival kicks off with Olivia Rodrigo’s immersive pop-up and performances from rising stars including Caity Baser and Girl in Red

London's iconic BST Hyde Park festival roars back to life on June 27, 2025, with a star-studded lineup led by none other than Olivia Rodrigo. Fans gathered early to soak up the vibrant atmosphere as the gates opened at 1 PM for early access, with general entry following an hour later. The festival promises a rich blend of emerging talent and established acts across multiple stages, but the buzz undeniably centers on Rodrigo's headline performance on the Great Oak Stage, scheduled to light up the night from 8:50 PM until around 10:20 PM.

Adding a unique twist to this year's festival experience, Rodrigo launched an immersive pop-up installation dubbed the "GUTS World Tour Bus" right inside the festival grounds. Open from 1 PM to 7:30 PM, this interactive exhibit offers ticketholders a chance to dive deep into Rodrigo's world with replica tour outfits, a vanity station, themed photo opportunities, and even a pre-recorded message from the pop sensation herself through a charming phone booth-style setup. Exclusive merchandise, including a customizable butterfly crossbody bag and bottles of SOUR Grape Soda, is available only during this day and while supplies last, making it a must-visit for fans craving a tangible memento of the event.

The GUTS World Tour Bus first made its appearance just a day earlier at Spitalfields Market, giving fans an early glimpse before the festival kickoff. This installation is part of BST Hyde Park's broader strategy to blend full-day concert programming with engaging pop-ups, brand activations, and community events, ensuring a festival experience that extends beyond the music.

While Olivia Rodrigo's draw is undeniable, the festival also spotlights a host of other talented artists across its three stages. The Great Oak Stage kicks off with BETWEEN FRIENDS from 3:10 PM to 3:40 PM, followed by flowerovlove at 4:10 PM. Girl in Red takes the stage from 5:20 PM to 6:05 PM, setting the mood for The Last Dinner Party, who perform from 6:50 PM to 7:50 PM. Meanwhile, the Birdcage stage features acts like Déyyess (3:40 PM - 4:10 PM), Aziya (4:45 PM - 5:15 PM), and Florence Road (6:05 PM - 6:45 PM). The Rainbow Stage hosts Ruti (3:40 PM - 4:10 PM), Katie Gregson-Macleod (4:45 PM - 5:15 PM), and the ever-popular Caity Baser from 6:05 PM to 6:45 PM.

Caity Baser, a 22-year-old pop singer and songwriter who first gained fame on TikTok, is a standout among the lineup. Known for her cheeky lyrics, huge personality, and relatable storytelling, she has amassed over half a million followers on TikTok and millions of streams on Spotify. Her debut mixtape, "Still Learning," earned a top 10 spot on the UK album charts and snagged her a nomination for the BRITs Rising Star Award. Caity is no stranger to BST Hyde Park, having previously supported BLACKPINK at the 2023 festival. Speaking to MyLondon ahead of her set, she expressed her excitement and gratitude, saying, "I'm feeling so grateful and excited and ecstatic and incredible." She also admitted to being starstruck by Olivia Rodrigo herself, adding, "I just want to say hi to her - it'd be rude not to thank someone for inviting you to their party!" Her new single, "The Story of Her," released on June 26, 2025, is a heartfelt track inspired by her mother, weaving a tale of life's ups and downs and their ripple effects on those around us. Caity revealed that her songwriting has matured, reflecting her personal journey through heartbreak and newfound love, which has reshaped her creative outlook.

Ticket demand for BST Hyde Park has been intense, with many tiers selling out quickly on the official site. However, last-minute buyers can still find general admission tickets on resale platforms like Ticketmaster and AXS, priced between £89 and £123.25. Premium options, including Diamond VIP packages, remain available from around £250. Festivalgoers are advised to exercise caution when purchasing resale tickets, as some ticket conditions prohibit resale, potentially invalidating second-hand purchases. Checking terms and conditions with the original sellers such as Ticketmaster or Live Nation is essential to avoid disappointment at the gates.

Looking beyond June 27, BST Hyde Park continues to be a hub of musical excitement through July. The festival will host back-to-back shows from Zach Bryan on June 28 and 29, Noah Kahan on July 4, and Sabrina Carpenter on July 5 and 6. Legendary acts like Neil Young and the Chrome Dreams will grace the stage on July 11, followed by Stevie Wonder on July 12, and Jeff Lynne’s ELO closing out on July 13. Since its inception in 2013, BST Hyde Park has cemented itself as a cornerstone of London's summer festival calendar, blending star-studded lineups with innovative fan experiences and community engagement through its Open House midweek events.

From the infectious energy of emerging stars like Caity Baser to the commanding presence of Olivia Rodrigo and the array of other artists spanning genres and stages, BST Hyde Park 2025 promises a musical feast for Londoners and visitors alike. The addition of unique activations like Rodrigo's GUTS World Tour Bus elevates the festival experience, making it not just a series of concerts but a celebration of music, culture, and community.
