NFL star Odell Beckham Jr. and comedian Druski have become embroiled in serious allegations following their naming as defendants in an amended lawsuit against Sean “Diddy” Combs. The lawsuit, originally filed by Ashley Parham, accuses Combs of being involved in what she describes as
"a violent gangbang-style rape" dating back to 2018. The situation took another turn on March 7, 2025, when Parham amended her lawsuit to include both Beckham and Druski.
The legal drama started when Parham first reported her claims against Combs back in October 2023. She alleged multiple forms of assault, including being drugged and violently raped. Specific details from her lawsuit were graphic, noting, for example, Combs allegedly attempted to prevent her from becoming pregnant by attempting to insert an IUD. Also alarming were claims of her being sexually assaulted using objects.
Parham's amended lawsuit brought swift responses from Beckham and Druski, who both vehemently denied any wrongdoing. Druski took to social media to label the claims against him as "fabricated lies," adding, "I wasn’t a public figure in 2018 — I was broke, living with my mom, without any connections to the entertainment industry at the time of this allegation." He expressed deep empathy for victims of abuse, stating, "My heart breaks for actual victims of abuse, but I’m fully confident the evidence will expose this falsehood and the individuals who are maliciously trying to game the legal system to peddle false narratives."
Odell Beckham Jr. echoed Druski's sentiments, emphasizing his belief in his innocence. His statement included: “This world makes absolutely no sense. I am covered by God. He will prevail. I know who I am, I know who you are — keep your head up. That name will be cleared.” Beckham has stated adamantly, “I do not know and have never met the person who filed this suit” and claimed he has never been near Orinda, California, where the alleged assault is said to have occurred.
The allegations stem from events on March 23, 2018, at the apartment of Shane Pearce, who was another individual named as co-defendant. Parham recounts the ordeal including accusations of various individuals taking turns assaulting her. The alleged scenario involved Combs directing Druski to assault Parham, which the complaint suggests was carried out with disturbing detail: "Instead of immediately raping Plaintiff, Defendant Druski doused Plaintiff with more oil/lubricant and then jumped on top of Plaintiff’s naked and oiled body, treating it like a slip and slide and knocking the wind out of Plaintiff due to his enormous size." This claim and others like it paint what many find to be shocking and troubling portrayals of the alleged events.
While the civil suit against Combs and the others is still pending, there have been prior investigations. The Contra Costa Sheriff’s Department received reports concerning the allegations but concluded after investigations on March 23, 2018, the claims were unfounded. KTVU has reported the homeowner where the alleged assault occurred also denied any connection to Combs, adding more complexity to the case.
The legal troubles for Sean Combs have escalated recently, as he is currently facing over 70 sexual assault lawsuits and is awaiting trial for sex trafficking and racketeering charges, set to commence on May 5, 2025. Diddy’s legal team has described the allegations lodged against him as elaborate schemes to milk attention for financial gain. They took issue with the credibility of Parham as her lawsuit coincides with other accusations against Combs. “Mr. Combs was nowhere near Orinda, California on the day Ms. Parham claims she was assaulted there, and the Contra Costa Sheriff’s Department has already confirmed Ms. Parham’s claims were determined to be unfounded following thorough investigation,” stated his lawyers.
Parham’s story, which heavily intertwines casual interactions between her and the accused, raises questions about accountability and the narratives surrounding celebrity culture. Diddy’s previous influence and the gravity of his power have led many to speculate on the lengths to which former associates of his may go to assert their own version of events. For example, comments made by individuals claiming Diddy’s hand was involved also connect to previous conspiracy theories surrounding the murder of Tupac Shakur, adding to the tension surrounding the allegations.
Both Druski and Beckham are now positioned at potentially pivotal moments of their careers. Druski, who gained popularity through social media channels with comedic skits, is also responding to these allegations during a time when he has begun to build substantial public notoriety. Beckham, having recently transitioned back to free agency after his spell with the Miami Dolphins, is seeking to navigate these claims without negatively impacting his career’s image.
Even as their legal counsel prepares to mount defenses against the claims, the sensational nature of these allegations will likely continue to draw attention from various media outlets. The outcome of the trial set for Combs and the developments related to these claims may serve ripple effects across the entertainment industry, especially among other celebrities involved or potentially implicated.
While Parham seeks damages for emotional distress and more, both Beckham Jr. and Druski’s assertions of innocence place them at the center of increasing scrutiny as high-profile figures amid claims of significant offenses. The narrative surrounding the series of lawsuits only continues to grow more complex, leading many across social media platforms and news forums to speculate the possible repercussions such high-profile trials may bring.
