Oasis Expands North American Tour Amid High Demand

The iconic band adds four new shows to their 2025 reunion tour, including new dates in Toronto, New Jersey, Los Angeles, and Mexico City.

Oasis, the legendary Britpop band, has reignited excitement among fans by adding four more dates to their highly anticipated North American reunion tour planned for 2025. Following the flood of interest from their initial tour announcements, the group will now perform at major stadiums across key cities, including Toronto, East Rutherford, Los Angeles, and Mexico City. This surge of demand has been met with enthusiasm, demonstrating the band’s lasting legacy after more than a decade away from the stage.

The announcement includes two additional performances at Toronto’s Rogers Stadium and MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, alongside added shows at Los Angeles’ Rose Bowl Stadium and Mexico City’s Estadio GNP Seguros. These extra nights reflect the band’s commitment to meeting the overwhelming demand from their loyal fanbase. Oasis will open the North American leg of their tour on August 24, 2025, starting with two nights at Rogers Stadium. The excitement ramps up as the dates proceed through some of the most iconic venues throughout the U.S. and Mexico, culminating on September 13.

Joining Oasis for this highly anticipated tour will be the rock band Cage The Elephant, known for their energetic live performances and widespread appeal. This collaboration should offer fans an exciting experience as they prepare to see two major acts share the stage. Tickets for the newly added dates will be available for general purchase starting on October 4 at 12 p.m. local time, and fans are encouraged to secure their spots as quickly as possible.

Oasis will perform for the first time since 2009, trying to shake off years of estrangement between brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher, who make up the core of the band. Their last live performance left fans yearning for more, and the upcoming tour has been described as the return of the prodigal sons to the music scene. The band has been busy preparing for the tour, and they are eager to show their fans how much they’ve grown, musically and personally, since they last took the stage together.

Earlier this month, Oasis took to social media to express their gratitude for the phenomenal fan interest and support, which they stated influenced the decision to expand their tour schedule. A heartfelt message from the Gallagher brothers read, "The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised. There has been no great revelatory moment – just the gradual realization the time is right to bring back the magic of Oasis.”

The band’s upcoming tour follows their successful reunion announcement where the Gallagher brothers confirmed they would be setting aside their differences for this unique opportunity. Fans and critics alike have been abuzz ever since, reminding everyone why the band has been such a pivotal part of Britpop history.

Ticketing for the North American shows, particularly following mixed experiences for fans during the UK ticket sales, has seen Oasis commit to avoiding dynamic pricing, aiming to create a more equitable purchasing experience. Dynamic pricing—which can significantly increase ticket prices based on demand—has been the source of recent controversy, leading the band to declare their intention to adopt pricing structures aimed at benefiting fans instead of profiteering. Their management released a statement emphasizing this commitment, particularly as they reflected on feedback from fans who reported frustration with the prior ticket sales for their UK dates.

Despite announcing their ambitious North American tour, Oasis isn’t stopping there. The band has hinted at plans to take their live shows to other continents, extending the "Oasis Live '25" experience well beyond North America. New international tour dates are already rumored, including locations such as Seoul, Tokyo, Sydney, Melbourne, Sao Paulo, Santiago, and Buenos Aires, which showcases their far-reaching appeal and willingness to reconnect with fans globally.

The band recently celebrated their legacy through the release of a special 30th-anniversary edition of their debut album, Definitely Maybe, which includes unreleased tracks. This release not only stirred nostalgia among long-term fans but also introduced new listeners to the signature sound of Oasis. Music enthusiasts have lauded the reissue, prompting renewed discussions about the band's influence on the music industry over the past three decades.

With excitement building for what promises to be one of the most significant reunions of the decade, fans are ready to embrace the classic hits like “Wonderwall,” “Champagne Supernova,” and “Don’t Look Back in Anger.” If the strong demand for tickets is any indication, Oasis plans to put on spectacular shows filled with heartfelt performances and powerful nostalgia.
