Mandy McGlynn of the Utah Royals displayed superb skills, recording the rare feat of goalkeeper assist during her team27s 1-1 draw against Bay FC. Her precision pass set up Bianca St-Georges for the opening goal. Kiki Pickett responded for Bay FC by scoring the equalizer, reflecting the spirited competition across the league.

Across the board, four other matches concluded with 1-1 draws, including the Seattle Reign versus NJ/NY Gotham game. Alyssa Thompson of Angel City found the net to tie up their match against the San Diego Wave, continuing her impressive scoring record after tallying her first international goal.

The Washington Spirit kicked off their campaign with creativity and confidence as they secured a 2-1 victory at Houston.
