Number_i has successfully completed their nationwide concert tour, wrapping up with three final shows at the Saitama Super Arena from December 24 to 26. The tour, titled "Number_i LIVE TOUR 2024 No.I," attracted approximately 300,000 fans across 26 performances held across seven cities.
The concert atmosphere was electric as fans chanted "Number_i" right before the performance began. When the lights dimmed, the excited crowd erupted with cheers as the members took the stage. The colorful glow of fan light sticks illuminated the arena, creating a vibrant atmosphere for the opening number.
The show kicked off with the opening movie, followed by impressive pyrotechnics. Fire shot up from the stage as thunder boomed, and water rained down, setting the stage for the three members—Hirano Shō, Jinguji Yūta, and Kishi Yūta—to make their dramatic entrance. The group launched straight with their hit song "INZM," with Kishi delivering sharp rap lines, Jinguji captivating the audience with his smooth vocals, and Hirano adding deep bass raps, instantly thrilling the audience.
Following "INZM," the trio continued with upbeat tracks like "GOAT" and "FUJI," showcasing their aggressive choreography and high-energy performances. "Enjoy our songs!" shouted Jinguji, signaling fans to get involved as they performed "SQUARE_ONE," heading to the center stage to dance closely with fans.
The themed performance saw the group donning formal black outfits for "Rain or Shine," where they executed elegant choreography alongside female dancers. The ballad "Blow Your Cover" followed, with the rain effects enhancing the song's poignant message.
Kishi's solo performance was heartfelt, aiming to make the Christmas concert memorable. "Today is Christmas, and I hope we create lasting memories together," he said, using provided equipment to produce his own track, "Recipe," charming the audience with his warm vocals and creating an intimate atmosphere as the audience joined him with handclaps.
Jinguji's segment brought the scene indoors, replete with furniture, as he serenaded the audience with his emotional ballad "Bye 24/7." A transparent box descended from above, capturing him as rain cascaded down, creating breathtaking visuals and keeping the audience entranced.
The energy ramped up with the return of the trio for songs like "JELLY" and "i," during which they rode lifts to reach fans on the balcony, creating memorable moments with powerful performances. The night reached its heights with high-energy tracks like "No-Yes" and "Midnight City," which saw the three traveling around the arena on carts, engaging with fans as they performed.
The latter half of the concert continued to entertain with the reggae-influenced "Banana (Take It Lazy)," during which Hirano playfully blew kisses to hyperactive screams from the audience. After a brief interlude for the members to relax and share some personal anecdotes about past Christmases, they ramped up again for the last few tracks.
The show concluded with the final songs "BON" and the encore performances "Flower Petals Dance Day" and "Is It Me?".
"We sincerely sing to you all from the three of us to iLYs," Hirano expressed to their fanbase as they delivered the emotional finale, "iLY." This heartfelt song culminated the evening, leaving behind waves of happiness throughout the arena as the crowd captured moments to cherish.
