North Ossetia Sees Surge In Utility Requests Amid Security Brands Ratings

Residents increasingly reach out to energy firms, as wedding tourism flourishes across Italy's picturesque locales.

The utility company Rosseti North Caucasus has reported processing over 29,000 inquiries from residents of North Ossetia during the year 2024. This marks nearly a 27% increase compared to 2023 usage data, primarily attributed to advanced communication technologies and customer service initiatives.

Residents expressed their concerns and requests primarily related to electricity supply and technical maintenance. Of the total inquiries, 14,645 were made via online services, which is nearly 40% more than the previous year's figures. The company encourages residents to utilize platforms such as the "Portal-TP.RF" to streamline communication.

Rosseti North Caucasus remains committed to enhancing customer interactions and has established various customer service points, including centralized assistance locations within Vladikavkaz and other district offices. "Quality and prompt responses to citizen inquiries and increasing our interaction efficiency are the indisputable priorities for our work," stated a spokesperson for Rosseti North Caucasus.

Shifting focus to procurement trends, the RUБЕЖ magazine published the results of brand evaluations for security systems purchases from January 1 to January 19, 2025. This analysis shows the leading brands requested for government contracts, with HikVision, LTV, and Dahua as front-runners. Notably, HikVision tops the charts with two orders amounting to 1.33 million rubles.

Among the brands, RUBEZH led for its fire alarm systems, reinforcing its status as the preferred choice within the safety equipment market. Other notable mentions include SONAR for emergency announcement systems and PERСo leading projects for access control systems.

The total insights indicate the evolution of purchasing patterns and governmental preference as departments shift focus on heightened safety measures and effective monitoring capabilities.

Meanwhile, Italy is becoming increasingly popular for wedding tourism, particularly within regions such as Lombardy, which features scenic destinations like Lake Como and Lake Garda. According to Centro Studi Turistici’s latest research for Italy for Weddings, wedding celebrations orchestrated by foreign couples surged to above 15,000 events, reflecting an 11% increase from the previous year. Notably, 31.1% of couples opt for Central Italy, with Northern regions gaining traction as well.

"These figures highlight how the blend of iconic landscapes, Italian design, and local culture confirms Italy's position as an indispensable wedding destination," remarked Carlotta Ferrari, President of the Convention Bureau Italia. Increased demands from U.S. couples along with steady interest from regions like Japan and the UAE are driving this growth.

Special planning for intimate gatherings is sought after by foreign couples, along with themed events like vineyard weddings. Villas continue to be the top choice, favored by nearly 24% of couples, followed closely by historic residences.

To conclude, as Rosseti North Caucasus strives for improved customer engagement and brand suppliers adapt to procurement needs, the wedding industry exemplifies significant economic potential through rising tourist interactions. The figures and trends solidify the interconnectedness between utility improvements, security demands, and the booming wedding tourism sector, fostering growth across various economic segments.
