North Dakota State Dominates Cal State Bakersfield, Winning 94-60

Jacksen Moni leads the Bison with 28 points, extending their winning streak to eight games.

North Dakota State delivered a stunning performance against Cal State Bakersfield, clinching a decisive victory with a score of 94-60. The Bison showcased their prowess on the court, extending their winning streak to eight consecutive games.

Jacksen Moni emerged as the standout player, leading all scorers with 28 points, showcasing his abilities and precision throughout the game. His contributions included five assists, helping to facilitate play for his teammates. Moni’s first-half dominance was particularly impressive, as he netted 19 points, solidifying North Dakota State's control early on.

Joining Moni's offensive prowess, Noah Feddersen added 13 points and five rebounds, demonstrating his effectiveness both on the scoreboard and under the basket. Last but not least, Luke Kasubke also made notable contributions, scoring 12 points with precision shooting, including three successful three-point attempts. The Bison’s scoring depth proved to be too much for the Roadrunners to handle.

The game, held on Monday night, was one of importance as it marked the final non-conference matchup for North Dakota State (11-4). Despite not having played for eight days leading up to the game, the Bison displayed remarkable rhythm and energy, jumping to a quick 10-0 lead. Their build-up allowed them to maintain double-digit leads for the majority of the contest.

Cal State Bakersfield’s standout, Jemel Jones, scored 28 points for his team, but even his impressive effort could not facilitate any meaningful challenge against the Bison’s comprehensive attack.

The significance of this victory cannot be overstated. It not only signifies the Bison’s ability to perform when it matters most but also sets them up nicely for their upcoming Summit League play, where they are primed to make an impactful run.

North Dakota State's next challenge will come just after the New Year, as they host St. Thomas on January 2 to kick off their summit league competition. With this momentum, the Bison appear more than ready to tackle whatever challenges lie ahead.

This dominating win certainly provides North Dakota State fans with something to cheer about as they reflected on the year gone by. The team was on fire, and they took to the court with every intention of making their presence known as they head to Summit League play.
