NFL Week 18 Wraps Up With Playoff Picture Set

With no games tonight, focus shifts to Wild Card matchups and coaching changes across the league.

Week 18 has officially wrapped up, bringing the 2025 NFL regular season to a close and confirming the playoff bracket for the upcoming postseason. For those teams whose dreams of postseason glory have come to an end, the NFL Draft is just around the corner, scheduled just months away. While this week may be devoid of any Monday Night Football games, anticipation builds for next week’s playoff matchups.

With the regular season done and dusted, the spotlight now turns to the teams who made it to the playoffs. The playoffs will kick off this Saturday, January 11, starting with Wild Card Weekend. Although there is no Monday Night Football tonight, we can look forward to playoff action next week, particularly with the Minnesota Vikings set to square off against the Los Angeles Rams on January 13 at 8:15 PM ET, broadcast on ABC and ESPN.

Even without the allure of tonight's game, NFL fans have plenty to chew on. Today also marks Black Monday—the day when NFL teams traditionally make significant changes to their coaching staffs. This year has already seen Doug Pederson among those seeking new opportunities, indicating the turbulent nature of the NFL off-season.

The NFL's final regular-season slate played out over Saturday and Sunday, culminating yesterday. While the action was exciting, tonight fans will find no “MNF” to tune in for. Instead, they can prepare for the playoffs, where hopes of Super Bowl dreams will intertwine with disappointment from teams wishing they had another chance.
