CBS, too, boasts impressive programming, ‘starting off the New Year on December 17 with star-studded guests’ on CBS Mornings, but fans should anticipate the return of Doctor Who specials, including Doctor Who: Joy to the World on Christmas Day—a must-watch for returning fans.

The television special brings viewers back to familiar territories and new adventures, featuring the 15th Doctor, portrayed by Ncuti Gatwa, and addressing timeless themes of goodwill and exploration.

The holiday lineup isn’t solely anchored on familiar favorites either. Audiences will be treated to new twists and interactive features, as seen with shows like First Dates at Christmas where the warmth of festive romance is felt all around—or introducing audience favorites like Inside No 9: The Party’s Over, providing humor as UK celebrates.

Entertainment programming includes classics like The Civil War, always stirring and powerful, bringing forward discussions about the past, airing for PBS America’s overview of the historical drama, perfectly fitting to reflect on the past as audiences step forward.

These offerings will facilitate extraordinary discussions around the dinner table as families reminisce about favorite programs, laugh over comedy specials, and engage with narrative tales throughout the festive season. The TV ambiance promises to deliver not just laughs, but cherished memories.

With only days left until the celebrations, viewers are encouraged to gather with loved ones, warm cups of joy in hand, awaiting their favorite programs.
