New WWE 2K25 Patch Fixes Multiple Gameplay Issues

Patch 1.06 addresses Bray Wyatt's entrance and various other concerns noted by players.

2K Games has announced a new patch for WWE 2K25, designated Patch 1.06, which includes a variety of fixes and improvements for the game just one week after its launch. This patch was released on March 21, 2025, and comes as the latest response to feedback from players regarding various issues experienced since the game's release on March 14, 2025.

The patch addresses several gameplay concerns that players have encountered, particularly with features like MyRise, MyGM, and the creation suite. One of the highlighted repairs is for Bray Wyatt's entrance for the '23 character, which had been reported incorrectly displaying during specific match types. According to the official patch notes, the following concerns were included in this fix, aiming to enhance overall gameplay experience:

Patch 1.06 Notes:

  • General: Stability and performance improvements.

  • Gameplay: Addressed concerns of Bray Wyatt '23 using an incorrect entrance during certain match types.

  • MyRISE: Addressed reported issues with Face Photo options missing.

  • Universe: Fixed concerns of players being unable to change the arena when editing shows.

  • MyGM: Addressed concerns of brands displaying incorrectly during brand management.

  • Create (CAE): Fixed issues related to The Rock '01’s motion failing to unlock and addressed custom videos appearing locked.

  • Characters: Addressed likeness concerns for certain characters.

  • The Island: Fixed issues with player banners not displaying.

Since its initial launch, WWE 2K25 had received mixed feedback primarily due to various bugs and glitches that affected the gaming experience, similar to challenges experienced with other video games upon their releases. Previous patch efforts, like Patch 1.03 and Patch 1.04, had worked on other issues involving MyRise, but the latest patch focuses on broadening stability across multiple game modes.

In an interview with WWE Deutschland, new NXT star Jordynne Grace shared her excitement about her inclusion in the game and made a humorous comment regarding fan expectations. “It’s so insane that I’m going to be in WWE 2K25. I didn’t even know I was gonna be in the game, first of all. I didn’t know until that graphic dropped. I didn’t expect it because I joined WWE so late. I just joined this year, and I had done motion capture in the past. So, the only thing I can think of that they were able to get me in the game so quickly is that they actually used my scan from when I did someone else to put me in,” she said, adding a light-hearted touch by jokingly requesting fans, “But I do know that when I’m in the game, if someone doesn’t make the Patrick Star outfit and put me in it, that’s a mistake.”

Community engagement has been a significant part of the feedback loop for WWE 2K25, with gamers expressing their concerns through various forums and social media platforms. Notable figures in the gaming community have also been vocal about the improvements seen in Patch 1.06. A popular community member noted the importance of these fixes, saying, “Patch 1.06 has responded to many of our concerns, and it’s reassuring to see that 2K is committed to enhancing the player experience. It’s evident that they are listening to feedback.”

Patch 1.06 signifies 2K’s ongoing commitment to maintaining the WWE 2K franchise's quality. Fans can expect further updates and improvements as 2K continues to engage with its player base about gameplay stability and feature enhancements. The first DLC pack for WWE 2K25 is slated for release in May, which will likely introduce new content and characters to the game, generating further excitement among players.

With WWE 2K25 now available on platforms including PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC, players can enjoy an enhanced gaming experience thanks to the rapid updates the developers are implementing. The gaming community will surely be watching closely for future patches and content updates from 2K as they strive to enhance the title further.
