New Season Of Kampf Der Realitystars Shakes Up Trash TV

RTL's reality shows are evolving with fresh concepts and familiar faces, captivating audiences once again.

The start of the new season of Kampf der Realitystars is generating buzz not only due to its prominent contestants but also because of its fresh set design and new moderation style that are shaking up the world of trash TV.

In Staffel 6, a breath of fresh air is blowing through the Sala in Thailand as cult moderator Arabella Kiesbauer takes the helm, bringing a nostalgic vibe reminiscent of 90s talk shows to the "Stunde der Wahrheit." The notorious segment now resembles a classic talk show more than a typical exit round. Instead of having all contestants sit together on a familiar bench, the new set visually and dramatically separates the groups: those still in the game stand at the bar while eliminated contestants sit on the bench, and this time, they are allowed to join the conversation!

Fans are reacting to the new dynamics at the Kampf der Realitystars set. While some viewers are celebrating the new concept, others are longing for the classic format. Social media is abuzz with opinions, including one disappointed viewer who asked, "Why does everything always have to change?" On the flip side, others are more relaxed about the changes, with one fan exclaiming, "Awesome, great new stuff!" Contestant Stephen Dürr also chimed in, stating, "Time travel to the 90s. I really enjoyed being able to stand there." It seems the new setup is generating plenty of discussion potential.

Whether Arabella Kiesbauer will bring lasting change or whether the new look will simply require some getting used to remains to be seen. What is clear is that RTLZWEI is making targeted changes to breathe new life into the show, and so far, most fans are responding positively.

In a related reality TV development, RTL is gearing up to send twelve candidates to the Dschungelcamp in 2025. This year, the lineup includes a diverse mix of personalities from film, television, music, and sports.

Among the contestants are Alessia Herren, a 22-year-old reality star known for her appearances on Promi Big Brother and Kampf der Realitystars; Maurice Dziwak, a 26-year-old reality star who has made waves in the German reality scene; and Edith Stehfest, a 29-year-old actress and musician. Other notable participants include Yeliz Koç, a 31-year-old influencer and reality participant; Anna-Carina Woitschack, a 32-year-old Schlager singer; and Sam Dylan, a 33-year-old reality star fresh off a win in Sommerhaus der Stars.

Meanwhile, reality fans can also look forward to the upcoming season of Ex on the Beach, which is set to premiere on May 5, 2025. This season will introduce a twist with the inclusion of two couples who will face their past relationships while navigating new romances and challenges.

The new season will kick off with a double episode on RTL+, and fans can expect a total of 18 new episodes throughout May and June. The first two episodes will be available on May 5, followed by subsequent episodes released weekly.

The female contestants for this season include Bianca, a 23-year-old model and makeup artist; Chiara, a 23-year-old actress and model; and Franzi, a 30-year-old social worker known for her appearances on various reality shows. The male contestants feature Calvin Kleinen, a 32-year-old reality star and entertainer; Jermaine, a 20-year-old content creator; and Joshua "Joshi," a 25-year-old student.

This unique format promises to bring plenty of drama and excitement as contestants confront their ex-partners while trying to forge new connections.

As the reality TV landscape continues to evolve, shows like Kampf der Realitystars, Dschungelcamp, and Ex on the Beach are at the forefront, captivating audiences with their blend of drama, nostalgia, and fresh concepts. With these new seasons on the horizon, fans are eagerly awaiting the unfolding stories and the inevitable twists that reality television is known for.

In a world where reality TV reigns supreme, these shows are not just entertainment; they are a reflection of society's fascination with fame, relationships, and the human experience.
