New Progresar Scholarships Available For 2025

Students must meet financial and academic requirements to benefit from $35,000 monthly support.

The Progresar scholarships provide monthly financial support of $35,000 for students seeking to complete their education across various levels. For those wishing to receive this funding starting January 2025, it's imperative to meet certain requirements:

Eligibility Criteria:

- Nationality and Residency: Applicants must be native Argentinians, naturalized citizens, or foreign nationals with at least two years of legal residency in the country, holding national identification (DNI).

- Age: Applicants should be between 17 and 24 years for incoming students, up to 30 for advanced students, and there is no age limit for nursing students.

- Academic Standing: Advanced students must be regular students and have completed at least 50% of their coursework.

- Duration of Study: Students should complete their studies without exceeding more than two years beyond the specified duration, with exclusions for vulnerable groups.

- Pending Courses: Applicants with fewer than two pending courses (only finals or professional practices needed) may enroll for one year without renewal.

- Income Limit: The applicant’s and their family’s income should not exceed three minimum wages, except if the applicant receives a non-contributory disability pension.

Requirements for Each Program:

Those accessing the Progresar Obligatorio must fulfill the following:

- Must be native or naturalized Argentinians or foreigners with two years of legal residency and DNI.

- Age requirement: Must be between 16 and 24 years of age by the call closing date.

- Income should not exceed three minimum wages, with exceptions for applicants holding non-contributory disability pensions.

- Must be enrolled as regular students.

- Participation in prescribed complementary activities is required.

- Must meet the academic conditions specified by the Progresar regulations.

- Complete or pending vaccination schedule based on age group must be adhered to.

For the Progresar Superior, the eligibility is extended:

- Applicants must be native or naturalized Argentinians or foreigners with at least five years of legal residency and DNI.

- Incoming students should be between 17 and 24 years, advanced students up to 30 years, and nursing students have no age limit.

- Income requirements remain similar; it should not exceed three minimum wages.

- Graduates from secondary education cannot have outstanding subjects at the time of registration.

- Students must either enroll or currently attend national or provincial universities, national university institutes, higher technical education institutes, or state-run teacher training institutes.

- Some exceptions may apply to private institutions and nursing students.

- Accountability to academic conditions outlined by Progresar regulations is mandatory.

- Vaccination requirements parallel those of the Progresar Obligatorio program.

- Complementary activities as dictated by the program must be participated in.

To benefit from Progresar Trabajo, applicants need to:

- Be native or naturalized Argentinians, or foreigners with at least two years of legal residency and DNI.

- Applicants should be 18 to 24 years old, with the age limit extending to 40 years for individuals lacking formal registered employment.

- Income must not surpass three minimum wages.

Progresar Scholarship Payments:

The payment amount for Progresar scholarships will be $35,000 per recipient starting January 2025.
