New Farmers Seek Love In Rolnik Szuka Żony 12

The twelfth season introduces fresh contestants hoping to find lasting connections

On April 20, 2025, TVP1 aired the highly anticipated zero episode of the twelfth season of "Rolnik szuka żony" ("Farmers Looking for Wives"), coinciding with Easter celebrations. This special episode introduced viewers to a fresh batch of hopeful participants eager to find love.

Traditionally, the show features a mix of farmers and agricultural workers, and this season is no exception. For the first time, the selection includes not only farmers but also breeders, beekeepers, fishermen, shepherds, orchardists, and others involved in agriculture. The format remains the same, with one woman and seven men seeking their ideal partners.

The new contestants are a diverse group, showcasing various backgrounds and aspirations. Among them is Roland, a 37-year-old farmer from the Łódź Voivodeship, who runs an organic farm with his parents. Roland has already captured the attention of viewers, particularly on social media, where many have expressed admiration for his charm and demeanor. "He seems like a really good, warm person," commented one fan, while another added, "He’s going to be popular!" Roland, who stands at 185 cm tall, dreams of starting a family with someone who embraces rural life. "I want to create a family with a woman who will accept village life and want to co-create it with me," he shared.

The other participants include:

  • Arkadiusz, 24, from the Lubusz Voivodeship, who manages a 30-hectare vegetable and cereal farm and enjoys winter sports.

  • Barbara, 32, from Mazowieckie, who runs a dairy cattle farm and an agritourism business.

  • Gabriel, 31, from Wielkopolska, who operates a 60-hectare farm raising beef cattle.

  • Kamil, 23, from Podlasie, who manages a 15-hectare dairy farm.

  • Jarosław, 44, from Wielkopolska, who runs a large, 90-hectare farm with his family.

  • Krzysztof, 28, from Podlasie, who has a farm passed down through generations.

  • Andrzej, 54, also from Lubusz, who works part-time at the National Museum in Lublin.

In the previous season of "Rolnik szuka żony," viewers followed the journeys of five contestants, including Wiktoria Żmuda-Trzebiatowska and Agata Matuszewska, among others. While not all participants found lasting love, Rafał Gajda and Marcin Kobierecki successfully formed relationships, showcasing the show's potential for fostering genuine connections.

As the new season unfolds, viewers are eager to see which contestants will resonate with audiences and receive the most letters from potential partners. The excitement surrounding the introduction of these new farmers reflects the show's enduring popularity, which has captivated audiences since its debut in 2014.

Host Marta Manowska, who has been a significant presence throughout the series, expressed her joy in helping participants find love. "I feel that the participants of the program are our reflection. It makes me happy that there are heroes like Paweł Bodzianny and Ania from the tenth season, who initially lost hope of finding someone and viewed participation in the program as their last chance," she noted.

With each season, the show has seen its share of success stories. Grzegorz and Ania Bardowski, for instance, have become a beloved couple, demonstrating that love can blossom in unexpected places. Their journey, along with others like Agnieszka and Robert, who married in 2016 and welcomed two children, highlights the show's ability to create lasting relationships.

As the twelfth season progresses, it will be interesting to see how the dynamics play out among the new participants. Will Roland find the love he seeks? Will other contestants capture the hearts of viewers and potential partners? With the stakes high and emotions running deep, the upcoming episodes promise to deliver the drama and romance that fans have come to expect.

The next phase of the competition will feature the five participants who receive the most letters, as they embark on their journey to find love. Viewers can look forward to watching these stories unfold in the fall of 2025, when the full season airs.

For now, the spotlight is on the new contestants, who are ready to share their lives and hopes with the audience. As they navigate the challenges of finding love on a reality show, they embody the spirit of resilience and the belief that love can indeed be just around the corner.
