NHK has announced the addition of actress Norika Fujiwara, known for her roles across various TV dramas, to the cast of the upcoming morning drama ‘Omukashi.’ Fujiwara will portray Sayuri Saijo, the nutritionist who plays a key role during the protagonist Yui’s hospital stay. This drama, which starts airing on January 6, 2025, will be broadcast on NHK at 8 am, with replays during the week.
