New Anime 'I'm The Evil Lord Of An Intergalactic Nation!' Premieres April 2025

ABEMA announces free streaming and exclusive cast details for the upcoming sci-fi fantasy series based on the popular novel.

ABEMA is set to release the much-anticipated new anime series, I'm the Evil Lord of an Intergalactic Nation!, starting April 5, 2025. This marks a significant addition to the Spring 2025 anime lineup, promising to engage viewers with its unique storyline that blends elements of science fiction and fantasy.

The series is adapted from a novel by Yuume Mishima, which has gained popularity through serialization on Let's Become Novelists and subsequent publication by Overlap Bunko. The story follows Liam, a young aristocrat in an intergalactic empire, who redefines his approach to leadership after his past failures, adopting the role of an 'evil lord' to manage his territory. With a humorous twist, despite his intentions, his popularity among the townsfolk only grows as he comically misinterprets their reactions.

Fans of the genre can catch the first episodes for free on March 25, 2025, when ABEMA will air episodes 1 and 2. This special streaming event will take place on the Isekai/Fantasy Anime Channel, starting at 8 PM JST, followed by a limited-time free viewing window until 2 AM JST the next day.

The main cast features a celebrated group of voice actors, including Natsuki Hanae as Liam, Kanade Maeda as childhood Liam, Reina Ueda voicing Tenjou, Ayana Taketatsu as Nias, and Marika Kouno as Cristiana. Additionally, the series has recently announced the inclusion of Toshiaki Miyada in the cast, further enhancing its appeal.

ABEMA will provide a structured release schedule, with episodes airing weekly on Saturdays at 26:30 JST after the terrestrial broadcast.
