When a national intelligence officer, Rose, recruits him to infiltrate a strange criminal gang, Scorpex sees this as a chance to redeem and reclaim his fame and save his country at any cost. The action film also stars Laura Felpin, Mister V, Philippe Katerine, Paul Mirabel, Manu Payet, Panayotis Pascot, and Kavinsky. The film’s comedy primarily comes from how a misfit group from a country where they have never experienced snow, successfully end up in a snow-sculpting showdown. Frozen Hot Boys, as the film’s promos reveal, is full of humor and heart, becoming a delightful mix of teen comedy with poignant, coming-of-age moments with subtle messaging of self-belief and second chances.

As the police find themselves in a critical situation navigating the delicate challenge, the plot unfolds a gripping drama about courage and survival. Essentially a film about dealing with terror and its aftermath, the survival thriller film aims to take the audience through various perspectives of a hostage situation, as seen in movies such as Inside Man or The Taking of Pelham 123. Per the film’s official synopsis, “Through the eyes of the attacker, the hostages, and the first responders, iHostage delivers a tense and emotional tale of courage, survival, and the lasting impact of terror.”

Bullet Train Explosion | Available On | April 23, 2025 | | Directed by | Shinji Higuchi | | Cast | Tsuyoshi Kusanagi, Kanata Hosoda, Non, Jun Kaname, Machiko Ono | | Runtime | 134 minutes | A modern remake of the popular 1975 film The Bullet Train, Bullet Train Explosion is a high-speed survival action thriller set on a Tokyo-bound bullet train where a bomb is planted to explode if it crosses a speed of 100 kph (kilometers per hour). As tension surmounts aboard the Tohoku Shinkansen Hayabusa No. 60, conductor Takaichi, with remote help from the control center, takes on the onus to save the crew and passengers, racing against time to evade a possible disaster. Bullet Train Explosion comes from acclaimed director Shinji Higuchi (Shin Godzilla), and stars Tsuyoshi Kusanagi as the conductor, reuniting the director-actor duo since their last work in Doomsday: The Sinking of Japan. As seen from the trailer, Bullet Train Explosion is set up to be an adrenaline-charged action film, bearing similarities to a long list of films set on a train across decades, including Terror on a Train and Source Code.
