NEET UG 2025 Admit Cards Released For Download

Candidates can now access their hall tickets ahead of the May 4 exam date.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the admit cards for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test for Undergraduate courses (NEET UG) 2025, available on its official website at neet.nta.nic.in. Candidates who registered for the exam can now download their admit cards, which are essential for entry into the examination hall.

Scheduled for May 4, 2025, from 2 PM to 5 PM, the NEET UG exam will be conducted in an offline pen-and-paper format across 552 cities in India and 14 cities abroad. This year's exam is expected to attract around 23 lakh candidates vying for over 1 lakh MBBS seats, 27,618 BDS seats, and numerous other positions in AYUSH and nursing programs.

The application process for the NEET UG 2025 was open from February 7 to March 7, 2025. Notably, this year marks the first time that the application window was not extended, reflecting a more streamlined approach by the NTA.

To download the NEET UG 2025 admit card, candidates need to follow these straightforward steps:

  1. Visit the official NEET website – neet.nta.nic.in.
  2. Click on the link titled ‘NEET UG 2025 Hall Ticket’ on the homepage.
  3. Enter your application number and password to log in.
  4. The NEET UG 2025 admit card PDF will be displayed on the screen.
  5. Download the hall ticket and save a copy.
  6. Take a printout of the admit card and keep it safe for exam day.

It's crucial for candidates to check their admit card for accuracy. If any discrepancies are found, they should contact the NTA immediately to rectify the issues.

This year's NEET UG exam will consist of 180 multiple-choice questions covering subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology. The exam duration has been set at 180 minutes, with a total marking scheme similar to previous years: 4 marks for each correct answer and a deduction of 1 mark for each incorrect answer.

In a significant change, the NEET 2025 exam pattern has reverted to the pre-COVID format, eliminating optional questions. Candidates can expect a rigorous assessment as they prepare to tackle the comprehensive syllabus.

As the exam date approaches, candidates are reminded to gather all necessary materials for the exam, including:

  • A printed copy of the NEET UG 2025 admit card
  • A valid photo ID proof (such as an Aadhaar card, PAN card, passport, voter ID, or driving license)
  • One passport-sized photo (matching the one submitted with the application)
  • One postcard-sized photo for the attendance sheet

On the day of the exam, candidates must arrive at their designated exam centers by 1:30 PM to ensure a smooth entry process. The NEET UG 2025 will take place in multiple languages, including English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, Assamese, and more, catering to a diverse range of applicants.

After the exam, the provisional answer key is expected to be released in the fourth week of May 2025, with results likely announced by June 14. Following the results, counseling for admissions will begin in July 2025, with All India Quota seats managed by the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC), while state quota admissions will be handled by individual states.

The NEET UG exam is a critical stepping stone for aspiring medical students in India, and the release of the admit cards marks a significant milestone in the examination process. Candidates are encouraged to stay updated with any announcements from the NTA regarding the exam and related procedures.

For any further assistance or queries, candidates can visit the official NTA website or contact the NEET NTA helpline.
