MP Board Class 5 And 8 Results Declared Today

Students can check their scores online as RSKMP announces improved pass percentages this year.

The Rajya Shiksha Kendra (RSK), Madhya Pradesh, has officially declared the MP Board Class 5 and Class 8 final exam results today, March 28, 2025, at 1 pm. Students who appeared for the 2024-25 academic session can now check their results on the official website – rskmp.in.

According to the RSKMP, the overall Class 5 RSKMP 2025 result pass percentage is 92.70 per cent, with government schools achieving a pass rate of 93.24 per cent, non-government schools at 91.99 per cent, and registered madrasas at 76.83 per cent. In comparison, the Class 8 results show an overall pass percentage of 90.02 per cent, with government schools at 89.13 per cent, non-government schools at 91.73 per cent, and registered madrasas at 67.72 per cent.

Students are encouraged to check their results through the official website using their login credentials, which include their roll number or Samagra ID. The RSKMP has also announced that the results will be accessible via SMS, DigiLocker, and QR codes.

The official RSKMP website experienced heavy traffic, causing it to crash momentarily due to the influx of students and parents eager to access their results. Officials have urged patience and advised users to try again later if they encounter issues.

To check the results, students should follow these steps: visit the official website, rskmp.in, locate the result link, and enter their login credentials. The result will then be displayed on the screen, allowing students to download and print their scorecards for future reference.

In the past year, the MP Board Class 5 results reported a pass percentage of 48.3 per cent among girl students, while the percentage for boys was 51.7 per cent. For Class 8, the figures were 48.4 per cent for girls and 51.6 per cent for boys. This year, the overall pass percentages reflect significant improvements from last year's results, with Class 5 showing a 2 per cent increase from 90.97 per cent and Class 8 demonstrating a 3 per cent increase from 87.71 per cent.

Students must achieve at least 33 per cent marks in each subject to qualify, which translates to a minimum of 33 marks out of 100. Those who do not meet this criterion will be required to take supplementary exams. However, if students fail in more than two subjects, they will have to repeat the class.

The Class 5 and Class 8 exams were conducted from February 24 to March 5, 2025, with a total of 22.85 lakh students appearing for the examinations across various government, private, and madrasa schools in Madhya Pradesh. Specifically, over 11.17 lakh students sat for the Class 5 exams, while around 11.68 lakh students took the Class 8 exams. The evaluation process was extensive, conducted at 322 centers with more than 119,000 evaluators involved in checking the answer sheets.

As part of the results announcement, the RSKMP will also release a merit list, detailing the top-performing students and schools. This information will include the best-performing district and other relevant statistics.

In 2024, the MP Board Class 5 results showed a pass percentage of 48.3 per cent among girls and 51.7 per cent among boys, while the Class 8 results reflected 48.4 per cent for girls and 51.6 per cent for boys. This year's improvements signal a positive trend in student performance across the state.

Students are advised to collect their final marksheets from their respective schools after the results are released, which will include comprehensive details about their performance, including subject-wise marks and overall pass percentage.
