MP Board Class 5 And 8 Results Announced Today

Students can check their scores on rskmp.in starting at 1 PM

The Madhya Pradesh Rajya Shiksha Kendra (RSKMP) is set to announce the results for the Class 5 and Class 8 board examinations today, March 28, 2025, at 1 PM. This announcement comes after a rigorous evaluation process that involved over 1.19 lakh teachers assessing the answer sheets of more than 22.85 lakh students across the state.

Students who appeared for the exams can check their results on the official website, rskmp.in, by entering their roll number or Samagra ID, as detailed in the official notification. This year, approximately 11.17 lakh students participated in the Class 5 exams, while around 11.68 lakh students took the Class 8 exams, marking a significant turnout.

The exams for both classes were conducted from February 24 to March 5, 2025, across 322 evaluation centers established throughout Madhya Pradesh. The evaluation process was extensive, ensuring that the results are both accurate and timely. The director of the examination, Harjinder Singh, emphasized the board's commitment to completing the evaluation swiftly, stating, "We are trying to complete the evaluation by March 24 so that results are announced soon." This commitment reflects the board's dedication to maintaining educational standards despite the challenges posed by the ongoing pandemic recovery.

Students must achieve a minimum of 33% marks in each subject to qualify. This criterion means that students need to secure at least 33 out of 100 marks in every subject and maintain an overall aggregate of 33% to pass the exams. This standard has been consistent over the years, emphasizing the board's focus on ensuring a solid educational foundation.

Last year, the results for Class 8 were announced on April 23, 2024, and historical data suggests that results are typically released between late April and early May. For instance, in previous years, the Class 8 results were declared on May 15 in 2023, and May 13 in 2022. The trend indicates that students can expect results in a similar timeframe this year.

In the 2024 Class 8 exams, girls achieved a pass percentage of 48.4%, while boys scored 51.6%. Such statistics reflect the ongoing efforts to promote gender equality in education, with both boys and girls performing competitively. The board's focus on inclusivity is evident, particularly in rural areas where last year's Class 8 results showed that students from rural backgrounds outperformed their urban counterparts, achieving a pass percentage of 88.35% compared to 86.04% for urban students.

After the results are announced, students who do not pass will have the opportunity to take supplementary exams. Details regarding these exams will be provided by the RSKMP following the announcement of the results. This option allows students to have a second chance at success, ensuring that they can continue their educational journey without significant setbacks.

Students and parents are advised to keep their login details ready to avoid any delays when checking the results. The RSKMP has implemented measures to handle expected high traffic on their website, but users may still experience delays. In case of technical difficulties, students are encouraged to remain patient and try accessing the site after some time.

As the clock ticks down to the 1 PM announcement, anticipation is building among students and parents alike. This year's results will not only reveal individual achievements but also provide insight into the overall performance trends across districts. The board is expected to release detailed analysis reports, including the overall pass percentage and district-wise performance.

In terms of last year's performance, a total of 23,71,075 students appeared for the exams, with the Class 5 pass percentage recorded at 90.97%. For Class 8, 9,97,553 out of 11,37,387 students passed, resulting in a pass percentage of 87.71%. These statistics highlight the increasing educational standards within the state and the effectiveness of the board's evaluation processes.

In conclusion, the announcement of the MP Board Class 5 and 8 results today is a significant event for the students and the educational community in Madhya Pradesh. As students prepare to check their results, the board's efforts to ensure a fair and efficient evaluation process stand as a testament to its commitment to education in the state.
