The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) is on the verge of announcing the results for the Class 10th and 12th examinations of 2025, a moment eagerly anticipated by over 16 lakh students across the state. While no official date has been confirmed yet, reports suggest that the results could be released between May 1 and May 7, 2025.
According to sources, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has directed education officials to expedite the release of the board results following a meeting with them. The MP Board has completed the evaluation of answer sheets, and the announcement is expected to come soon. Students can check their results on the official websites, mpbse.nic.in and mpresults.nic.in.
The MP Board conducted its examinations from February 25 to March 29, 2025, with a total of 16,60,252 students participating. Specifically, the Class 12 exams were held from February 25 to March 25, while Class 10 exams occurred between February 27 and March 21. This year, 7,06,475 students appeared for the 12th class exams, and 9,53,777 students took the 10th class exams.
As the students await their results, they are reminded that to pass, they must secure at least 33 percent marks in each subject as well as in total. If a student scores below this threshold in one or two subjects, they will be marked as compartmental. However, if they fail more than two subjects, they will be considered failed overall.
The results will be announced through a press conference, and students will be able to access their results by entering their roll number, date of birth, and school code on the official websites. Additionally, students can check their results via the MPBSE mobile app or through the Live Hindustan website, www.livehindustan.com/career/results/madhya-pradesh-board-result.
Last year, the pass percentage for the 12th class was recorded at 64.49%, while 58.10% of students passed the 10th class exams. The performance of students in previous years has varied, with a notable improvement in results expected this year.
For students eager to stay updated, the MPBSE has advised them to regularly check the official websites for notifications regarding the release of results. The announcement of results is a significant event in the academic calendar, marking the culmination of months of preparation and hard work for students.
Once the results are announced, students will be able to download their provisional mark sheets from the official website, while the original mark sheets will be provided by their respective schools at a later date.
Students who believe their results do not reflect their performance can apply for rechecking, although this will involve a fee. The Madhya Pradesh Board has also made provisions for students to check their results via SMS, ensuring that they have multiple options to access their scores promptly.
This year’s exams were particularly notable for the participation of over 16 lakh students, reflecting a strong commitment to education in the state. The MP Board is expected to continue its tradition of releasing results simultaneously for both Class 10 and Class 12 students, allowing for a streamlined process for students and schools alike.
As the anticipation builds, students, parents, and educators alike are hopeful for favorable outcomes, which will pave the way for future academic and career opportunities. The results will not only determine students' eligibility for higher education but also serve as a stepping stone for many into their professional lives.
In summary, the MP Board results will be a critical moment for students in Madhya Pradesh, and with the announcement expected soon, all eyes will be on the official channels for the latest updates.
