MP Board Class 10 And 12 Results Released Today

Students eagerly await results as MPBSE announces outcomes for 18 lakh candidates

The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) is set to announce the highly anticipated results for the Class 10 and Class 12 board exams today, May 6, 2025, at 10 AM. This announcement follows the completion of the exams, which saw participation from approximately 18 lakh students across the state.

The results will be made public during a press conference led by Dr. Manmohan Yadav, Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh. Students eager to check their performance can do so on the official websites: mpbse.nic.in, mpresults.nic.in, and mpbse.mponline.gov.in. The results will also be available on DigiLocker, providing students with multiple avenues to access their marksheets.

The MP Board Class 10 examinations were conducted from February 27 to March 19, while Class 12 exams were held from February 25 to March 25, 2025. Both sets of exams were administered in offline mode across various centers in the state. To pass, students must secure a minimum of 33% marks in each subject, as well as an overall aggregate of 33%.

Last year's results showed a pass percentage of 64.48% for Class 12, a significant increase from 55.28% in 2023. However, the Class 10 results have fluctuated over the years, with a notable drop to 58.10% in 2024, the lowest in the last five years. This decline followed a remarkable 100% pass rate in 2021, attributed to mass promotions during the pandemic.

Students who do not meet the passing criteria will have the option to appear for supplementary exams. Detailed instructions regarding the application process, exam dates, and schedules will be provided by MPBSE following the announcement of the results. Additionally, students dissatisfied with their marks can apply for re-evaluation or scrutiny of their results, which will be available shortly after the results are declared.

For those looking to access their results, the process is straightforward. Students need to visit the official MPBSE website, navigate to the results section, and enter their roll number and application number. This will allow them to view their individual marksheets, which will include important details such as subject-wise marks, total marks, division status, and remarks.

Here are the steps to check the MP Board results:

As the results are about to be announced, students are filled with anticipation and anxiety. The board's decision to hold a press conference to reveal the results adds an element of excitement to the day. During the press conference, the board will also share important statistics, including the overall pass percentage, gender-wise performance, and a list of top-performing students.

In addition to the results, the MPBSE will provide details about the number of registered and appearing students, as well as the failure rate and other relevant data. This year, over 16.6 lakh students appeared for the MP Board exams, with 9.53 lakh students awaiting the Class 10 results and 7.06 lakh students waiting for the Class 12 results.

Students are reminded to keep their roll numbers handy for quick access to their results. The MPBSE has assured that the results will be released promptly at 10 AM, allowing students to immediately check their performance after the announcement.

Looking ahead, after the MP Board results are declared, Class 10 students will have the opportunity to choose their academic streams, including Science, Commerce, or Arts, while Class 12 students will begin the application process for undergraduate courses or prepare for competitive exams such as JEE, NEET, or CUET.

As the clock ticks down to the announcement, students across Madhya Pradesh are holding their breath, hoping for results that reflect their hard work and dedication throughout the academic year. The MP Board results 2025 are not just a reflection of their academic performance but also a stepping stone to their future educational and career paths.
