CNL stated, "Due to safety reasons, the highway could be totally closed preventively if new rains occur in the region."

Defense Civil personnel are actively engaged at the site, overseeing clean-up operations and ensuring the roadway’s integrity. A representative from Civil Defense noted, "Emergency teams are currently on-site cleaning the roadway." Currently, traffic is flowing northbound under controlled conditions characterized by the "Stop and Go" system, as reported by ARTESP. CNL has advised drivers to utilize either the Anchieta-Imigrantes System or Rodovia dos Tamoios to circumvent the closed sectors of the highway.
