Leading Global Companies Showcase AI, Robotics, and Connectivity Solutions

The Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025 is set to showcase revolutionary technological advancements, featuring innovations from leading companies across the globe. Scheduled to take place from March 3-6 at the Fira Barcelona Gran Via, the annual event serves as one of the premier platforms for tech industry leaders to present their latest breakthroughs.

Among the significant exhibitors, South Korea’s major telecom operators, SK Telecom, KT Corp, and LG Uplus, are positioning themselves at the forefront of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies. SK Telecom will occupy a substantial 990-square-meter booth where it will highlight advanced AI data center solutions alongside its cutting-edge semiconductor technologies. The telecom giant's showcase theme is "Innovative AI, Accelerate the Future," emphasizing AI-enhanced telecom services and autonomous robots.

SK Telecom's presentation will include its AI data center solutions, which incorporate memory and security technologies, as well as products developed by its affiliate SK hynix, including the fifth-generation HBM3E chips and high-performance solid-state drives.

KT Corp, which recently partnered strategically with Microsoft, will introduce its AI innovations under the theme "K-Street." This exhibit will showcase AI-powered solutions across seven sections, emphasizing real-time translation technology and security improvements, including advanced scam-blocking mechanisms. A highlight of KT’s exhibit will be its AI sports announcer, which will demonstrate the company’s real-time translation capabilities.

For the first time, LG Uplus will have its own dedicated booth at MWC, featuring its AI-driven products focused on enhancing security and user experience. The company plans to introduce various solutions, including ixi-GEN, its telecom-specialized AI model, and ixi O, its AI agent, aimed at detecting deepfake voices and preventing voice phishing scams.

Another notable exhibitor, Ulefone, will reveal its latest line of rugged smartphones, including the Ulefone Armor 28 Ultra. With the theme "AI, Equip Your Armor," Ulefone aims to demonstrate how its products integrate state-of-the-art AI technologies. The Armor series smartphones are crafted for both indoor and outdoor use, providing exceptional durability alongside advanced performance features.

The flagship device, the Ulefone Armor 28 Ultra, features the Dimensity 9300+ chip, Sony IMX989 camera, and various innovative specifications such as secondary displays and high-capacity batteries. Ulefone intends to showcase additional models like the Armor 29, 30, and 32, each equipped with impressive battery life and features, including built-in projectors and emergency functions.

Meanwhile, REVOBOTS has announced the launch of its TASKBOT at MWC 2025. This AI-driven, 3D-printed humanoid robotics solution is engineered to transform workforce automation across sectors such as logistics and manufacturing. CEO Dr. Giby Raphael described TASKBOT as part of REVOBOTS’ mission to redefine workforce automation, noting its capability to adapt and evolve through AI learning and real-time input.

Ceragon Networks also plans to launch three new wireless connectivity products, including the IP-100E, which boasts industry-leading capacities. These innovations aim to address modern networking needs, enhancing connectivity solutions at MWC and beyond. Ceragon CEO Doron Arazi expressed excitement about revolutionizing network connectivity with these new offerings and improving operational efficiency for their clients.

The overarching theme of this year's MWC, "Converge, Connect, Create," embodies the industry's commitment to integrating diverse mobile technologies through AI. The primary exhibition topics will include various facets of telecommunications, with industry leaders gathered to share insights and innovations as they shape the future of mobile technology.

Notably, participation from chief executive officers from each major South Korean telecom will provide insight during panel discussions. This collaboration marks a significant moment as LG Uplus makes its inaugural solo appearance, competing alongside SK and KT.
