Mobile SIM Services Available In Bandung On March 19, 2025

Residents of Kabupaten and Kota Bandung can conveniently renew driving licenses at multiple locations this week.

In a move aimed at enhancing access for residents, the schedule for the mobile SIM service (SIM Keliling) in Kabupaten Bandung and Kota Bandung is set for Wednesday, March 19, 2025. The service is conveniently located at two sites in each area, allowing citizens to easily renew their driving licenses (SIM A and SIM C).

For Kabupaten Bandung, residents can visit the Auto 2000 Rancaekek or the Kantor Kecamatan Ciparay. The requirements are straightforward: applicants must present a valid original KTP (or SUKET) along with a photocopy. The SIM card being renewed must not surpass its expiration date. Extensions are permitted within a span of 14 days before the license expires.

Similarly, in Kota Bandung, the mobile SIM service will be available at ITC Kebon Kalapa and Ubertos on the same day. Again, the same rules apply: a valid KTP or SUKET and photocopy are mandatory for processing renewals. As in Kabupaten Bandung, applicants must ensure that their existing SIMs are within the expiration time frame.

Operating hours for both services commence at 08:00 and run until the SIM issuance process is concluded. While registrations from Monday to Thursday are accepted until 11:00 WIB, those on Fridays and Saturdays are open until 10:00 and 12:00 WIB respectively.

Specific health requirements dictate that applicants must provide a health certificate from a doctor appointed by the police. This certificate confirms that the applicant is in good health (not blind, deaf, disabled physically, or with poor eyesight) and should also include any necessary vision prescriptions.

In terms of cost, the fees are set at Rp80,000 for SIM A and Rp75,000 for SIM C. Additional charges include an insurance fee of Rp50,000, a health test fee of Rp65,000, and a psychological test fee of Rp100,000. It's also important for users to bear in mind that expired licenses cannot be renewed at these mobile services; they need to be processed at designated SATPAS or POLRESTA offices.

Residents can benefit from these mobile services as it saves time, reduces costs, and brings the necessary services closer to home. For further information, individuals can reach out to the mobile service's call center.

If you have missed the opportunity on March 19, don't worry! The mobile SIM service will remain available in subsequent days, as they are scheduled to operate from March 17 through March 22, 2025, in various locations across the region.

As a reminder, all schedules and locations are subject to change, so residents are advised to confirm given details before heading out. The objective of these initiatives is to provide convenient access to essential services for all members of the communities in Bandung.
