The Mizoram Board of School Education (MBSE) has officially announced the results for the Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) examination for the year 2025 today, May 6. Students who appeared for the Class 12 board examinations can now access their results on the official MBSE website at mbse.edu.in.
To check their scores, candidates will need to enter their roll number and registration number. The results will display crucial information, including the student’s name, roll number, parents’ names, school name, category, date of birth, subject-wise marks, total marks, division, and whether they passed or failed.
As for the overall statistics, this year saw 12,281 students register for the examination, with 12,105 actually appearing. Among these, 8,658 students were from the Arts stream, 2,798 from Science, and 649 from Commerce. The combined pass percentage for the HSSLC examination stands at 81.10 percent, with the Science stream achieving the highest pass rate of 85.63 percent, followed by Arts at 81.13 percent and Commerce at 74.42 percent.
In terms of distinctions, 701 students earned this accolade, while 3,250 students passed in the first division, 3,970 in the second division, and 1,896 in the third division. Notably, all three stream toppers are female candidates. Lalrammawii Tochhawng from Mount Carmel School, Aizawl, topped the Arts stream with an impressive score of 471 out of 500. In the Science stream, Cynthia Lalhlupuii Shangpliang from St. Paul’s Higher Secondary School, Aizawl, secured the top position with 477 out of 500 marks. Meanwhile, Kristin Laldinpuii Ralte from Oikos Higher Secondary School, Aizawl, emerged as the Commerce stream topper, scoring 470 out of 500.
