Mister Donut Launches Pierre Marcolini Collaboration Donuts

The new chocolate-themed donuts celebrate 50 years of the classic Old Fashioned and feature exquisite flavors.

Mister Donut is making headlines with its latest collaboration with renowned chocolatier Pierre Marcolini, introducing the delightful "misudo meets PIERRE MARCOLINI" lineup. From January 10 until late February 2025, donut enthusiasts can indulge in five new decadent flavors, showcasing the artistry and flavor embodiment of chocolate.

This collaboration marks the return of Pierre Marcolini's creative touch, four years after their last partnership. The new offerings celebrate the 50th anniversary of the classic Old Fashioned donut, bringing forward rich chocolate experiences modeled after the texture of finaciers and old favorites.

The standout items include the luxurious "Chocolat Noir," priced at 345 yen for takeout and 352 yen for dining in. This donut features velvety chocolate dough, completed with chocolate coating and topped with chocolate crunch, inviting chocolate lovers to rejoice. Another highlight is the "Chocolat Noisette," also priced at 345 yen for takeout and 352 yen for eat-in; it boasts layers of chocolate cream and nutty goodness.

For nostalgia and celebration, Mister Donut introduces the anniversary items: "Chocolat Framboise Fashion" and "Chocolat Mousse Fashion," both available for 291 yen for takeout and 297 yen for eat-in. Crafted to honor the beloved Old Fashioned, these creations utilize rice and whole wheat flour to achieve crispy textures, providing the ultimate chocolate experience.

Donut lovers can also treat themselves to the "Chocolat D'Almond," priced at 367 yen for takeout and 374 yen for eat-in, which combines sweet almond chocolate with luscious layering. A special takeout set—"PIERRE MARCOLINI Set 1"—offers two choices between "Chocolat Noir" or "Chocolat Noisette," one piece of "Chocolat D'Almond," and one of either the "Chocolat Mousse Fashion" or "Chocolat Framboise Fashion" for 1348 yen.

Taking inspiration from the timeless French pastry culture, the innovative chocolate batter, resulting from Marcolini's guidance, provides balance and depth of chocolate flavor. Visitors to Mister Donut stores will get to experience these gourmet treats, combining various textures and flavors for maximum delight.

Reflecting on the collaboration, Miki Suzuki, head of the Mister Donut product development department, expressed the company's long-standing commitment to exciting seasonal items and collaborative endeavors, citing previous successful partnerships with brands like Pokémon and seasonal specialties like sweet potato donuts. "With this winter’s focus on chocolate, we are thrilled to carry on our collaboration with Pierre Marcolini as we aim to surprise and please our customers," she noted.

Pierre Marcolini himself shared his excitement about this renewed partnership, stating, "I am very happy to have realized this second collaboration with Mister Donut. This time it is even more beautiful than before, and the taste and texture are enjoyable." The chocolatier's passion and artistry shine through each selection, aiming to present customers with gourmet-level donuts.

With each variety crafted to create not just taste but visual appeal, donut fans can look forward to indulging their cravings at their nearest Mister Donut location over the next few weeks. The launch of these unique flavors not only highlights the creativity inherent within the partnership but also solidifies Mister Donut's role as a leader among donut enthusiasts.

Set your calendars for January 29, as the collaboration is set to grow with the introduction of second-round products to keep customers engaged and craving more delightful treats. Don't miss the chance to savor these limited-time offerings, combining sweet nostalgia with contemporary artistry.
