Ministop is celebrating ‘Ministop Day’ with exciting promotions to mark its seventh anniversary, offering customers enhanced menu items and significant discounts beginning February 21.
On March 2, known as 'Ministop Day', the convenience store chain will hold its ‘Ministop Daikanshasai’ campaign, featuring product increases at unchanged prices, including popular items like X Fried Potatoes, colorful seafood bowls, and fluffy coffee cakes, all available at reduced prices alongside coupon opportunities.
Starting on February 21, customers can enjoy a 1.5 times upgrade on X Fried Potatoes, with savings of 20 yen. Following this, from February 25, the store will increase the portion of its colorful seafood bowl by 32% and the fluffy coffee cake by 30%. The ham and cheese bread will also see its size rise by 15%, alongside the fried noodle bread.
On February 28, token reductions will apply to the Hot Dog and W Mont Blanc Pudding. The promotion for the X Fried Potatoes will last until February 27, during which customers can also use the app coupon for additional savings.
The excitement continues with ‘Ministop Day Special Lottery’, where participants can use the Ministop app for free to pull coupons offering various prizes, running from March 2, 00:00 to 23:59. Three tiered prizes include free vanilla soft serve, 100 yen off selected parfaits, and 50 yen off another assortment of parfaits.
Notably, ‘Ministop Day’ was established through recognition by the Japan Anniversary Association back in 2018. The name derives from the concept of being able to stop by conveniently, which reflects the meaning behind 'MinuteStop'. This translates to both the deliciousness and convenience being central to comprehending the store’s mission.
The creative promotions are aimed at enhancing customer loyalty by making their offerings more appealing. Recent reports indicated promotional pricing for frozen foods, including popular snacks and desserts, evidencing Ministrops’ intent to provide customers with value. For example, the authentic meat bun is available at reduced prices, as well as limited-edition sweets at attractive discounts.
Adding to the festive atmosphere, Ministrops is running other missions as well, such as offering app coupons worth 100 yen discounts and promotional campaigns via social media with hashtags aimed at garnering audience engagement.
April 4 will see the introduction of the seventh generation of their ice cream line, featuring the 'Hokkaido Milk Soft', developed to provide customers the taste of soft serve akin to what’s available at farms.
'Bearing the motto of enjoying delectable flavors anytime, customers will be pleased with the upgrades and promotions being rolled out as we approach ‘Ministop Day’,' remarked one company spokesperson.
The promotional activities are crafted to not only mark anniversaries but also to cater to the increasing demand for varied and rich flavors, ensuring customers enjoy their experiences.
Through such efforts, Ministrops aims not only to commemorate their achievements but to forge stronger connections with their consumer base, leveraging convenience and quality as strong tenets of their marketing campaigns.
