Meghan Markle welcomed the first day of spring by sharing an adorable photo of her 3-year-old daughter Princess Lilibet picking strawberries. “Cheers to the first day of spring!” she captioned the Instagram photo, which showed Princess Lilibet holding a basketball of strawberries. While the photo didn’t show Princess Lilibet’s face due to privacy, a glimpse of 5-year-old Prince Archie’s tiny foot can be spotted in the background.
In March 2025, the Duchess of Sussex shared a video clip showing Princess Lilibet and Prince Archie helping her make jam-filled thumbprint cookies using her raspberry spread from her As Ever brand ahead of her appearance on “The Drew Barrymore Show.”
Markle also honored International Women’s Day on March 8, 2025, by sharing a rare photo of Princess Lilibet with Prince Harry on a boat. In this post, Markle showed her commitment to celebrating strong women and shared a heartfelt message: “Happy International Women’s Day! Celebrating the strong women around us & the girls with dreams who will become women with vision. Also thanking those who uplift us every day.”
During a 2022 episode of her "Archetypes" podcast on Spotify, Markle discussed the challenges of parenting while in conversation with actress Pamela Adlon. “It is so much work to be a mom when you are just trying to be a conscious parent to raise good, kind human beings — and to do that solo is the most impressive, admirable thing on the planet,” Markle reflected in that conversation. She added, “I longed to be a mom as much as I longed to be a wife. And at the same time, also at a young age, I was a feminist, and despite what people would think, I didn’t find those things to be mutually exclusive.”
Looking ahead, Meghan Markle is set to launch a brand new podcast titled “Confessions of a Female Founder” on April 8, 2025. She announced on her personal Instagram page that this podcast would feature “candid conversations with amazing women” who “turned dreams into realities.” In addition, Lemonada Media will distribute her previous podcast, “Archetypes,” ensuring it reaches a wider audience.
Over the course of 12 episodes of “Archetypes,” Markle engaged with a diverse range of influential women, including Serena Williams, Mariah Carey, Issa Rae, Mindy Kaling, Paris Hilton, and Margaret Cho. Each episode delved into the complexities and challenges surrounding female identity and societal expectations.
As the spring season unfolds, Meghan Markle continues to blend her roles as a mother, public figure, and advocate for women’s issues. Through her social media and podcasts, she remains committed to sharing her journey and the experiences of the women around her, reminding everyone that motherhood and feminism can coexist beautifully.
