Meghalaya Board To Announce SSLC Results On April 5

Students can check their scores online at official MBOSE websites

The Meghalaya Board of School Education, known as MBOSE, is set to announce the results for the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) examinations on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at 11 AM. This announcement comes as a significant milestone for the students who participated in the Class 10 examinations held earlier this year, from February 10 to February 25.

Students eager to check their results will need to visit the official MBOSE website at mbose.in or other affiliated sites, including megresults.nic.in and mboseresults.in. To access their scorecards, candidates must enter their roll number, application number, and date of birth. The scorecard will detail the student’s name, roll number, school code, school name, and marks obtained in each subject along with the cumulative total.

Last year, the MBOSE results reflected a pass rate of 55.80%, with 30,207 students out of 54,134 passing the examinations. Anuj Chetry from Sherwood School in Tura topped the 2024 exams with an impressive 575 out of 600 marks. Following him were Aleytheia Syiemlieh from St. Margaret’s HSS in Shillong, who scored 574, and Congenial Kharsahnoh from Christian Academy in Shillong, who secured 571 marks.

The official notification from MBOSE emphasized that the results will not be displayed at the board offices in Tura or Shillong, urging students to access their results online. This digital approach aims to streamline the process and ensure that students can easily obtain their results from the comfort of their homes.

To ensure a smooth experience when checking results, students are advised to follow these steps:

  • Visit the official website at mbose.in.

  • Click on the link for the MBOSE SSLC Results 2025 on the homepage.

  • Enter the required login credentials, including roll number and date of birth.

  • Submit the information to view your results.

  • Download and print the scorecard for future reference.

As anticipation builds for the results, students and parents alike are reflecting on the hard work and dedication that have gone into preparing for these exams. The MBOSE SSLC results are not just a reflection of academic performance; they also hold the key to the next steps in students' educational journeys. A minimum of 33% marks is required to pass the SSLC exams, which is a crucial threshold for students aiming to progress to the next academic level.

Looking back at the previous year, the 2024 SSLC results were released on May 24, and the pass percentage was noted to be lower than the previous year's 51.93%. This year, students are hopeful for an improvement in results, considering the ongoing efforts by schools and educators to enhance teaching methodologies and provide better support to learners.

The MBOSE has been proactive in communicating with students and parents, ensuring they are well-informed about the examination schedules and results announcement. This level of transparency is crucial in building trust and confidence within the educational community.

As the date approaches, social media platforms are buzzing with discussions and predictions about potential outcomes. Students are sharing their experiences and anxieties, creating a sense of camaraderie among peers facing the same challenges. The results will undoubtedly play a significant role in shaping the academic futures of many young individuals in Meghalaya.

In addition to the SSLC results, MBOSE also announced the results for the Arts stream of the Higher Secondary Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) examination for Class 12, which boasted a pass percentage of 79.76%. This positive news adds to the excitement as students await their own results.

As we approach the announcement date, it is essential for students to remain calm and focused. Regardless of the outcomes, this experience is just one step in their educational journey. For many, the SSLC results will open doors to new opportunities, whether that be pursuing higher education or exploring vocational training options.

In conclusion, the MBOSE SSLC results for 2025 are set to be released on April 5 at 11 AM, marking a pivotal moment for thousands of students in Meghalaya. With the results accessible online, students are encouraged to check their scores promptly and prepare for the next chapter in their academic lives.
