The Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBOSE) has officially announced the results for the Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) Class 12 examinations for the year 2025. The results, which include all streams—Arts, Science, Commerce, and Vocational—were made available on May 5, 2025. This year, the MBOSE conducted the Class 12 examinations from February 18 to March 17, 2025. The practical exams were held earlier, between February 5 and February 14, 2025. The examination schedule saw students sitting for their theory papers from 10 AM to 1 PM, covering a range of subjects from English to Psychology.

Last year, Sohan Bhattacharjee from Laban Bengalee Boys’ Hr. Sec. School in Shillong topped the Science stream with a remarkable score of 483 marks. Similarly, Ferry Filarisha Wann from St. Mary’s Higher Secondary School, Shillong, excelled in the Commerce stream with a score of 472.
The Arts stream results were released later, on May 24, 2024, following the earlier announcements for the Science, Commerce, and Vocational streams. The consistency in the examination schedule and the timely declaration of results have been appreciated by students and educators alike.
