The fast-food chain introduces sweet and savory options alongside a trial breakfast menu in the north of England.

McDonald’s is launching its new food and drinks menu today, May 7, 2025, featuring both sweet and savory treats at its restaurants nationwide. This May menu introduces exciting new items while also bringing back some fan favorites just in time for spring.

One of the highlights of the new menu is the Frozen Cherry Lemonade, a tangy frozen beverage available for £2.99. This refreshing drink features a sweet cherry-flavored swirl that promises to be a hit with customers looking for a cool treat.

For dessert lovers, the beloved Biscoff McFlurry makes a return, featuring a Biscoff biscuit crumb swirled into soft serve ice cream. The Biscoff Frappe, priced at £3.09, also makes a comeback with its vanilla-flavored base blended with ice and Biscoff crumbs, topped off with caramel-flavored cream and a dusting of Biscoff crumbs. The regular Biscoff McFlurry can be enjoyed for £2.29, while a Mini version is available for £1.69.

Returning to the menu is the Steakhouse Stack, a hearty burger that includes two 100% British and Irish beef patties, cheddar cheese, crispy onions, red onions, and fresh lettuce, all topped with a savory black peppercorn sauce and served in a toasted glazed sesame bun for £5.99.

Chicken lovers will be pleased to see the McSpicy X Frank’s RedHot burger back on the menu. This spicy option features a 100% chicken breast coated in a hot and crispy shell, topped with crunchy lettuce, Emmental cheese, jalapeños, slivered onions, and Frank’s RedHot Mayo, all nestled in a toasted sesame seed bun. The burger is available for £5.99, or customers can opt for a medium meal for £7.99.

Additionally, McDonald’s is introducing a new Frank’s RedHot Mayo dip, described as creamy, tangy, and fiery, perfect for those wanting to add a bit of spice to their meal. This dip can be purchased separately for just 50p.

Another returning item is the Katsu Chicken One wrap, which includes crispy or grilled chicken coated in katsu sauce, crispy onions, crunchy cucumber, and fresh lettuce, all wrapped in a warm, toasted tortilla. This wrap is priced at £3.49, but customers can snag it for just £1.99 on Wednesdays.

Also staying on the menu are Cheesy Garlic Bread Dippers, which consist of four mozzarella cheese dippers flavored with garlic and chives, coated in a ciabatta-style breadcrumb. These dippers are available for £2.49, or customers can opt for a sharebox for £6.59.

McDonald’s customers can start enjoying the new May menu items from today, but they should act quickly, as the menu will be available for a limited time only.

In addition to the new May menu, McDonald’s is trialing a new Breakfast Savers menu in selected restaurants across the north of England, including the north west. This marks the first time this menu has been introduced in UK locations, and it aims to provide affordable breakfast options for early risers.

The Breakfast Savers menu includes a Breakfast Bundle Deal for just £2.99, allowing customers to choose between a Sausage Sandwich or a Saver Bacon Roll, priced at £1.99 and £2.19, respectively. Other options on the menu include Cheesy Bacon Flatbread, Porridge, Apple Slices, Hash Browns, and Tropicana Orange and Apple Juice.

Selected restaurants throughout the north of England will offer this Breakfast Bundle Deal, making it easier for customers to enjoy a hearty breakfast without breaking the bank. The new breakfast menu is available in north west restaurants starting today, May 7, 2025, but it will only be around for a limited time.

As McDonald’s continues to innovate and adapt to customer preferences, the introduction of the new May menu alongside the Breakfast Savers menu shows the fast-food giant’s commitment to providing diverse and affordable meal options for its patrons. With enticing new flavors and returning favorites, McDonald’s is sure to attract a wide range of customers eager to try these offerings.
