  • March 28: 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM

Fans attending are reminded to adhere to regulations for safety and security, including restrictions on photography and video recordings during practice sessions. The club emphasizes the importance of respecting the atmosphere and privacy of both players and staff.

Meanwhile, on the cultural side, the Sakuratei will hold workshops where participants can create keychains using preserved hydrangeas and dried flowers. Scheduled for March 2, the crafting sessions will run on the hour from 11:00 AM, offering groups of ten people access for workshops through advance registration. Each session aims to engage families and provide alternatives for creative expression.

On March 29 and 30, the Yomiuri Giants are set to host their annual baseball and soccer instructional clinics. The event titled 'Waku Waku Baseball and Soccer Class' will take place at two separate locations: Toyama Kenmin Koen Taiko Mountain Land on the 29th and Kanazawa City Gymnasium on the 30th. The clinic targets young families, encouraging participation from both beginners and experienced children alike:

  • March 29 (Toyama): 9:30 AM - 12:20 PM for preschoolers (up to 50 groups) and 1:00 PM - 3:50 PM for elementary grades 1 to 3 (up to 50 groups).

  • March 30 (Kanazawa): 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM for preschoolers and 12:30 PM - 2:00 PM for elementary grades 1 to 3.

Participation is free, and children must have registered 'GIANTS ID' to participate. Applications will close on March 9, with registration processes involving online submissions.

For fans of sports, the March 1 J2 League match between Vegalta Sendai and Oita Trinita promises excitement both on the field and off. The event hosts the 'Dash Contest 2025,' where attendees can test their speed on the track at Q&A Stadium Miyagi. Participants will have the chance to win original stickers for surpassing designated speed times:

  • Participation is free and open to spectators holding event tickets.

  • Registration is at 10:00 AM, with the contest ending by noon.

Attendees are limited to one attempt each, and certain footwear restrictions apply to prioritize safety. This opportunity encourages community involvement and motivates local athletics.

Adding to the infrastructure excitement, the Tokai Circular Expressway will see the opening of its new 6.5 km section on March 29, enhancing connectivity from Mie to Gifu and Aichi Prefectures. This development aims to bolster local businesses and improve access, particularly benefiting those traveling toward Nagoya.

The section connects the Oyana Interchange to the Inebe Interchange, firmly establishing other planned expansions across the expressway, with officials hopeful these improvements will stimulate economic growth and tourism.

With these initiatives lined up, March 2025 is poised to offer ample opportunities for public engagement through sports and the arts. From exciting sports events to creative workshops, there's something for everyone to look forward to, making it an invigorative month for communities across Japan.
